  1. Prepandemic, all of the celebrity ships were using Canyon Ranch spa services, except Celebrity Edge......We have not been on a celebrity ship since prior to the pandemic.  Does anyone know who are providing services on the Edge class ships now?  In particular, celebrity Beyond?

Is Flam Railway to Mydral and back to Flam about a 2.5 hour roundtrip (if i don't spend time in Mydral)

Tying too see if I can book a 2nd excursion to Stegastein.

Can I ask who you would be booking through for both of these excursions?  Do you know if they both leave from near the cruiseport?  TY!

  3. Great review and pictures!  We were on Rotterdam for 10 days over Thanksgiving. We enjoyed every aspect of our cruise--the crew, the ship, the entertainment, the food, our room(veranda). Our ports were Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, HMC, Amber Cove,  and San Juan.  Did not want our cruise to end--absolutely no complaints!

One booking confirmation says "casino discount included in fare"

the other does not reference any special rate.

Can someone explain this casino rate and discounts?  How much do you have to play in the casino?  What do you have to do? Thank you in advance!

  5. We were to sail on MSC Musica on May 4 from Brindisi, Italy, a 7 day cruise.  It was cancelled March 30 and I submitted the online form.  We received a 400 deposit and another 910 for the balance of the cruise this week and this was credited on 2 different charge cards. We are still owed another 120 for an excursion through MSC, but we were told it would come separate.  We booked direct with MSC USA.

Still waiting for a flight refund from Air Alitalia....maybe someday!   We also received a full refund on flights and another cruise(transatlantic) from celebrity, during this same trip.  We were to be gone almost a month.  Maybe next year or when a vaccine comes out for this virus!

  6. who did you contact?  We were to be there on May 1 and were told we would have to wait until that date to see if they were going to be open.  If they were open and construction has resumed, we would not receive a refund.  I just want to get this entire trip taken care of with refunds, cancellations, etc. and move on.

  7. i did this once, but was really disappointed in the outcome.  I did a vase, wanted a specific color, which we had discussed, and it came out totally different!  waste of money in my opinion.  you cannot do a nice piece of glass blowing in 15 minutes!  I think we had some OBC, so some of the cost was from that, but I would never do again.

  8. We think that HA is better, especially the buffet, where HA will serve the portions out(cleaner) and we like the different stations that HA has--at least on Koningsdam (newer ship).  not sure about HA older ships and how they have it set up.  MDR is almost equal. Specialty restaurants, HA has the edge.  We really enjoy both lines for different reasons.  Service is excellent 97% of time on both!!

  9. Thank you! This is great to hear! We booked it for 4 nights, then we are flying to Sydney and staying there for 4 nights, then embarking on a cruise! As part of our booking, we get free breakfast at the Alto! We also plan on doing a tour of the great ocean road, but just an all day tour! Any ideas on where to stay in Sydney? We were thinking maybe an airbnb with 2 bed/2 bath for 4 adults, or a hotel, but have not done enough research yet to know where we want to be.

  10. we are presently looking at flights into Melbourne for November 2018. Is this through the cruise line? Prices have been way cheaper through Celebrity which is the cruise we will be taking. From a small town in PA to Mel and then from Auckland back to PA and the prices have been around 1275/person. This is flying with United and Air New Zealand.

  11. You can go watch it and then decide if you want to do it. They have examples of what you can make. I would go early on in your cruise since they have sign ups and they are taken rather quickly! It definitely is a unique experience!

  12. We were on Equinox in April and I did the vase. I was very disappointed with the color as I specifically stated what color I wanted it to be. Although it was a nice experience, I thought it was pricey(around 100) and a waste of money! After picking it up the next day, I did not even want to take it home! They have a schedule to follow and they are probably trying to get as many done as possible in the time they have allocated for every cruise. Would never do it again. I thought it would be a neat souvenir, but it turned out ugly so will not be displaying it!!
