If you book a room at Atlantis you can have 5 people as long as the 5th person is under 5 (or it may be 5 or under can't remember exactly). Don't know about Comfort Suites.

Dev-US, we were at Atlantis last summer on Sat. July 2nd (ship arrived at 8 am) and did the Aquaventure (we wanted to do the waterslides and pools). Bought thru majestic tours and loved it. Although our ship didn't leave til 10 pm we wanted to be back onboard ship for our 6pm dining time so we left Atlantis by 4 pm.

Since you aren't interested in the waterslides or pools, just the beach, I agree with Scubagirl. Don't pay for the Atlantis beach, just go to the free one either on Paradise Island or Nassau itself (Junkanoo). You could even splurge a little and buy a day pass for one of the hotels on Nassau such as the Sheraton or British Colonial. Do a search on those and see if it interests you.

There should be lockers available at the time you will get there and even with a locker you should grab a lounge chair and leave your towel on it so you have a place to come rest during the day. That's common at any waterpark and not considered a no-no.

I was disappointed with the Mongolian grill on the Fascination. I like mine over rice and they only had noodles. Only had 3 sauces to choose from, the mild (no pepper) was black bean and I'm not a black bean fan, the slightly hot (one pepper) was Thai BBQ and the hottest (2 peppers) one I don't remember cuz I knew I didn't want the hottest so I chose the BBQ sauce. The sauce was ok. My husband thought it was just ok also. Neither of us went to the Mongolian grill again.

Go to the Florida Departures board and search "Jacksonville". You will see a few threads on this. On one of the threads, the owner of the lot has a response. He owns the transportation company that Carnival uses to transport people from the airport to the cruise terminal. Sounds like he is legit and provides ample security.

We've had two collapsible coolers and both leaked. After learning about the trashbag tip we've been doing that and it works.

So you could win at your qualifying table but not make it to the finals if your total is not one of the top 6 from all qualifying tables?

How many tables are going in the qualifying round at one time?

How are the bj tournaments done on Carnival that is how many hands per round, how many rounds, how many advance in each round and are there any "elimination" hands prior to the final hand in each round?

You have to be at the Comfort Suites Paradise island website not the general comfort suites website and it does say you get full access to Atlantis.

Want to see it all at Atlantis, aquarium/dig, waterpark etc. I know the Comfort Suites deal gets you into the waterpark but does it also get you into the aquarium/dig?

Loved your review and the pictures are awesome! We sailed the Fantasy 2 yrs. ago right before her drydock to upgrade to the Waterworks so it was nice to see her again and what the Waterworks slides look like. We are thinking about going on the Sensation next summer and seeing your review and pics has made me want to go for sure!
