Any ideas about travel insurance credit if we purchased through RCCL?

Don't know if folks have seen - it appears that RCCL is providing a credit if you cancel and are booked between now and July 31st.
Link to info?

Scheduled on Independence May 21st, only way I would not go is if RCL cancels since at this point I would lose all $. My only fear is that since this is my first solo cruise, if ship is quarantined I would be alone in the cabin so extra books will be loaded on my Kindle! Trying to figure out how to stock up on extra drinks, maybe bring a plastic container? Yes I have the drink package.
Would the drink package continue during a quarantine period?

So for us cruising on RCCL and are going, do you think there are any strategies you will employ to minimize risk and still enjoy the trip?
For example is eating in the buffet more or less risk than the Dining Room? Early vs Late?
Use steps and not elevators to avoid close bodily contact?
Any other thoughts?

As a lot of us are past the time we can cancel for a full refund, do you think that there are strategies that can be implemented to minimize risk and still enjoy the cruise?
For example, eating in the Buffet v Dining room? Same risk?
Using Stairs vs Elevators to avoid close contact?
Any other ideas?

My daughter worked on POA and they receive training on customers and alcohol consumption. Bartenders and servers can flag anyone at anytime.

RCCL could make you sign a waiver that if you were found to have violated the rules there could civil/financial penalties, but I agree its is difficult to enforce.

Is there a Starbucks on AOS?

My wife is the "slot person" but we go to Atlantic City frequently. I did notice some of the newer type machines with the larger screens. They have Buffalo Gold, they have several Asian themed machines where the Koi swim up the screen for your bonus. They have newer Wheel Of Fortunes ($1) denomination. A lot of the older machines do exist, but my wife did not seem too excited as a "slot person" at the selection compared to what we see in AC.

I was on the cruise prior to yours--
Curious as to your thoughts--Cruise was Ok but not what it used to be.
especially in food choice and quality.
Also I found to Cruise director to be a non event--past cruises in NCL we always had memorable talented CD
Agree about Cruise Director. I found the food to ok, however the dining room time seemed very slow, so we ate in the buffet a lot due the wait time in the dining rooms.

Hi,
Did you go to St. Tomas and to Tortola? How do they
look after the hurricane? thanks.
Aside from a few sunken boats in the harbor it looked ok.

There are a few other hotels close by Breezes that also offer day passes, so if Breezes happens to be full, you may be able to get in at another property so your trip isnt wasted.Good luck, and try the Conch fritters at the pool :D

Can't give you a good answer. I only cruise in late August.

So you could show up and not even get in?

From reading other threads, yes if they are really crowded. We got there prior to 10am but weather was off that day,so we had no issues. They begin selling them at 10am.

I agree with NJBill - Breezes is a good choice if you're looking for a more active resort. When we were there, they had games going on plus a rock climbing wall and trapeze lessons (you can't do the trapeze if you've been drinking). They have some included watersports too.
I don't believe you can book them advance. Just go to the front desk when you get there.
Agree.. you cannot call in advance, and the day pass slots are limited based on capacity.
