Does anyone know if the washers & dryers on the Sunshine. Some one said they use the Sign & Sail and some have said they use quarters. We are doing the April 6 Repositioning cruise and I will have to do laundry.

I buy the E-Gift Cards before all my cruises and it is a great way to prepay some of the charges before you sail.

Look at wrigley80(I think that's the right screen name) she was just on the Sunshine and she put together a meet n greet. I'm sure she can give you some info.

I am doing the one with her but we have been hearing different stories so was just checking.

We are on the Sunshine April 6. We had a Cocktail Party booked before the old price change 19.95 per person and the new price is 44.00 per person for two hours unlimited drinks. Have heard a lot of rumors that they are now limiting you to a couple types of drinks. Has anyone had one and any information would be great. Thanks

We have a Cloud 9 Spa Suite booked on the Sunshine repositioning cruise April 6. I am really excited after reading the post. Has anyone every had a Spa Suite? :)

Like the other person said it will work fine if they do not get checked. But had some freinds and they tried the same thing. The kids got stopped and told to leave the area. Meet them and take the things yourself is the best way to do it.

This will be our 8th cruise and our 5 suite. We like the bigger room, more closet space and large bathroom. Husband goes to bed alot earlier than I do so it is easy for me to come into the room and get ready for bed without disturbing him. I watch the price and book with any discounts I get I ususally get a good deal and we enjoy the balcony alot also.

I tried that to the Sunshine and it came back as not a good email address.

We did FTTF on the Fasication in May, you will not get in the VIP lounge and you will not get any refreshments. Jacksonville's Port is very different for any other port.

Does anyone know where they are located? I am still debating if we should just do the bag for $15 or do the self serve, DH says self serve but...I don't think he is the one planning on doing any folding :rolleyes: I guess if they are close enough to my cabin I can do it. I have never done this before (doing laundry on a ship). I can save on not bringing too many clothes and leaving luggage space for souvenirs like purses, shoes, lemoncello, etc.. since we will be saving on laudry that will be my excuse :D Thank you

I always pack less and do laundry on sea days, so have more room to take more back.

I have booked three of these cabins on an upcoming cruise in the Med and I am wondering if anyone has stayed in one of these. Wondering if the AC is okay in them? Any info is greatly appreciated!:(

I have one booked when it get to New Orleans next year also. Was wanting to know some of the same information. We are in 12002.

I am thinking more and more that 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 would be the way to go.

We had cabana # 14 in November when we sailed the Fascination. We loved the location. Since the cabana came with chips, salsa, veggies and fruit, we did not partake in the island bbq. The restroom was just a few steps behind the cabana. The people next to us in # 15 moved with their friends, so that one was empty almost all day, as such, it was like we had the whole beach ourselves. I had read the horror stories about the lower #'s and people trying to take over the cabana. No probs :)

Can someone give me the info on how to rent a cabana in HMC. I will be sailing in August 2013. Do I have to rent it before I leave or can I do it when I board the ship.

 

Also, a map of how the cabanas are spread out would be ever so helpful. Thanks

You have to do it "WAY" before you sail. When you can do your excursions it will be available. You can't pick your Cabana till you sail. But ones for our May 11, sailing on the Fascination, has been sold out since December. This is a great map.

We had #9 in 2012. I'm not sure when we will be in HMC again. I am also a big fan of # 9 and was going to try to rent it again when we are there next.

 

I wondered about how the villas will affect the cabanas, Do you know off hand which cabanas are affected by the villas? Particularly the higher cabanas.

I have had several people say 9, but that is was blocked some by the new Villas. That was what I was trying to find out more information about.

Love #9 We have had it every time we have been there. I was a little disappointed last Oct when we were there as they have built one of the 2 story villas practically on top of it. Great location tho. Going back in June and trying to decide if that will be our choice this time.

What would be your next choice. I found a good map showing all the cabana's. I was looking at 8, 9 or 10. Would these be in the area? How far apart where they? How close is the new two story? Thanks for any information.

We had #9 which is right in front of the bathroom( although not a issue) andy food was just a few minutes walk. It was also on the quieter end of the cabanas. We loved the location:D

THANKS!!!!!!!!I really do not think the bathroom will be an issue either but my husband thinks it is. I was thinking 8, 9 or 10 would be good. I have been told you go to Guest Services to request your Cabana number. Is guest services open when you board the ship? If not when do they open? Do I need to get in line and wait?

We are going to HMC in May on the Fascination, and have a Cabana rented. If we wanted to be kinda close to the food and restrooms. Which Cabana's would be the best to try and get. I seem to have read this some where but can't find the information. Thanks for any suggestions.
