Hey Irish Rover cool your jets. My comments were directed at the US passport Office if you bothered to read my post. Had the OP been more precise in the title of the thread I probably wouldn't have bothered reading it in the first instance. It was the OP who generated concern and all I did was explain how up to date with technology our little country is .

We were extremely grateful for the support of all the Nations who participated in our 75th Naval jubilee but diverted to Kaikoura to provide humanitarian aid after the earthquake.

I appreciate your attempt at clarification, but the " such a backward country" comment still speaks for itself. I acknowledge many problems in the USA and the freedom to criticize is a hallowed right. I think the broad characterization troubled me.

Such a backward country the USA. Here in NZ we can renew on line and will have our passports in our hands within a max of 10days, normally within 3 working days

New Zealand was happy to accept the help from USS SAMPSON in aid for the earthquake Wellington suffered in November. Also several US P3 Orion aircraft came in aid. The US NAVY

were there and spent a lot of time in service of your country, no one accused them of "backwardness"

One consideration you may want to make is that the smoking areas are on the port side. Midship balconies can be affected on lower decks.

Great cabin on the bump. The only thing I would consider is that the smoking area is on deck five port side somewhere in midship area. Have a great cruise

Is/has Celebrity raised it's cruise prices & also reduced it's acitivities & services ,to improve the bottom line ?

You seem to post often and negatively. Life is to short, cruising is fun try to find more joy in it.

Seems like a huge marketing misstep to me, guaranteed to annoy some people (read potential passengers) and won't be enough to cause others to choose Celebrity over any other line

I believe that there are more ports in the Boston area, than the Colorado area. This may have had something to do with the decision. (As long as the polar ice caps hold on)

We were on the Equinox for a motorcycle cruise as well. They were so nice and you didn't even know there was a group onboard except for our cabin happened to overlook the hatch in which they all rode out every day.

My DH actually wears his hat backwards at times and people seemed to think we were in that group because of the way he dressed. He took it as a compliment as they really caused no issues at all and were very interesting. They gave us tips on where to go on each island in case were are ever to return.

 

We were on Norwegian on an all gay cruise one time and things were out of hand from day one. It seems like the big groups feel empowered on how to act in which ever manner they choose. I don't want to see anyone making out by the pool -- straight or gay. That is what your stateroom is for. These men were grabbing at the waiters crotches and rubbing up against them -- taking them by surprise. As I mentioned, gay or straight -- unacceptable behavior by these passengers. If I'd have known it was going to be a group cruise, and should have done my research, I would have booked something else.

You are telling us the cruise line allowed criminal sexual assault on crew members with no reaction. What was the cruise date, I would like to see the many other outraged posters on that cruise.
