Always in the blue lane if you are picking medallion up at the pier, now.

We have done several transatlantic cruises starting from Barcelona. Both times it ended up better to book separate flights. We used AirTransat to Europe and have used Air Canada and Westjet from USA to Canada.

You will be fine. Just renew after your trip.

I usually use the Valet park and fly. They have a CAA discount so it ends up not costing much more than their self-park lots. The bonus is the Valet lot shuttle comes around more often than the shuttles for their other lots. I have a booking in September for 23 days and the total cost is $236.11.
I don't worry about anyone stealing my car. I don't think a 2011 manual, no A/C, 200k+ km Mazda 3 is a hot commodity for car thieves. 😆

Still green today. I'm in Canada and have to pick up my medallion at the port.

I didn't get it for my upcoming cruise. We prepaid our tips and bought the WiFi package at %50 off (platinum discount). We would never drink enough coke to make it worthwhile for us. We don't drink coffee/specialty coffees.

...And, of course, the biggest Princess selling point in my mind: self serve passenger laundries.
That is one of the things we are worried about on HAL 😄. We are used to being able to do our own laundry.

Amazon sells some power strips that have a logo on them that indicates they are " cruise safe", so it is very clear that they are not surge protected. May be easier to get something like that through security.

We were deciding between Princess and HAL for our Hawaian cruise next year. It all came down to the itinerary. HAL had a stop in Kona and an overnight in Honolulu. We ended up going with HAL. Before we booked, I did watch/read many reviews about HAL because we haven't sailed with them before.

Even if they start shipping to Canada, I will just pick it up at the port. I don't want to pay for shipping.

I went ahead and booked for $1. This is my first Holland America cruise so I didn't have any credits to use. I have been planning to book anyway, so why not do it for $1 deposit. Also got the have it all package with the elite beverage package, premium wifi and crew appreciation. I'm pleased.

This keeps happening to me. Sometimes will get in after 3-4 attempts. Last evening I could not get in at all, so had to do it by booking number. It has been like this for the past 4-5 days.

My husband submitted his passport at Service Canada on Friday 2 June. He received it yesterday, 13 June. Only took 11 days. It was not an expediated passport. He was told it would take 15 business days, we were surprised to receive it so quickly.

I submitted my application mid April. New passport arrived quickly despite the strike. Still have not received my old one back.
I finally got my old passport back last week, June 6. Took just over 2 months.

When booking our upcoming b2b cruise I did the math. We get 50% off WIFI. We don't drink alcohol, wine or coffee, but we do drink soft drinks. We booked the basic fare, bought a WIFI package for each of us and prepaid our tips. The fare, WIFI and prepaid tips was just over $1600 CDN less than buying the plus package. That is over $1100 US. We would never drink $1100 worth of soft drinks so it was not worth booking the plus package for us. It really depends on what/how much someone drinks if the package is worth it.

I submitted my passport renewal at Service Canada on 29 March. I received it 13 days later (not expedited). Passport processed in Gatineau. I have not received my old passport back even though I requested it. Hearing that someone got their old one back months later gives me hope I may still get it back. My husband submitted his yesterday at Service Canada. I hope his is as quick as mine was.

Thankfully we just paid the deposit for our April cruise so it is not a lot of money that we are waiting on. Submitted my request for a refund yesterday.

I cancelled my October 31st Constellation transatlantic cruise on July 2 (before final payment). I really do not think the cruise will end up happening. We had only put the deposit down. When I cancelled with my big box TA I was told it could be up to 90 days for a refund of my deposit. I was very surprised to receive my refund to my credit card July 14. Only took 12 days.

Yes!

I had a May 17 cruise cancelled by Princess April 14. I requested a refund and got email confirmation of my request April 14. The future cruise deposit I had used to book was returned to my account June 12. I have been checking my credit card daily. Today my full refund was showing on my credit card (total 70 days). The refund was dated June 18. I am happy I finally have my money back but I am still very unhappy that it took such a long time.

I was part of the phase 2 pause. I had a May 17 Alaska cruise cancelled by Princess. I put in my request for a refund the very first day (April 14) and I did get an email confirmation. I have been checking my Princess account daily to see if the FCD I used to book with, was put back into my account. Just today I see that it is back, which gives me hope they are beginning to process my refund. I did check my credit card and there isn't a refund yet.

That would be good to know. I am getting quite concerned about my refund and I am debating filing a dispute with my credit card company because I am concerned Princess will declare bankruptcy before I see my refund.

On April 3rd I cancelled a Celebrity Mediterranean cruise that I had booked for October. My credit card was just credited with 3 charges that added up to the $960 deposit. The refund was dated April 19th but just showed up today. I have been checking my card daily because I had 2 different cruises I am awaiting refunds on.
what can I bring on the ship at check in

We took 24 cans when we boarded the Majestic on Saturday. We took them in our carry-on bags. Security didn't even open the bag to look at them.
