To answer the original question - you can get a price drop under NA booking rules regardless of what type of booking you had. What could happen is that if the new price is also a GTY, you could go back into the GTY pool.

We did go back into the GTY pool. I'm ok with that though.

We currently have a guaranteed ocean view balcony booked for HOTS in September. I repriced our trip with the kids sail free promotion and we could save some money by calling RC. My question is will they let us do this since we are currently in a guaranteed room? We were assigned a cabin on Monday and have not made our final payment yet. I have never done a guaranteed room before and weren't sure if there were any rules That might prevent me from taking advantage of this sale.

Hello! I can't seem to locate any info on this cabin. Does anyone know the bed placement? Have pictures from their own trip? We booked a guaranteed ocean view balcony and were just assigned this room. I'm sure it's a perfectly good room, knowledge is power though.

We had a boardwalk balcony booked on our 9/16 HOTS cruise. The current sale made booking a guaranteed ocean view balcony room 500 dollars cheaper and 200 dollars more in OBC. We don't care where the room is. Just happy to be on vacation.

I too have issues with crowds and had no issues on oasis. I wasn't overwhelmed, no panic attacks. It was smooth sailing on all accounts. I prepared for the worse and had incredible vacation. Take the leap, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
