Can someone tell me how much the stateroom attendant receives when there are 5 people in an Aqua theatre suite ? I know tips are included but wondering how much they receive ?

hi we are on the Oasis with you 12/11 and 12/18. We are in a star class room and were last time we sailed on the Allure. We gave her 250 all together. That was recommended but we may give more because of the holiday. We gave the room steward 40. Bill and Penny

This is our first time having a Royal Genie, what all did your Genie do for you that a concierge doesn't do?

I was wondering if anyone has had one of the Royal Genie's on the cruise that comes with the Star Class ? If so at the end of the cruise how much did you tip them? Also the gratuities are included but did you tip your room attendant more? if so how much? Thanks !! :)

We are leaving on the Oasis soon. Our Genie did contact us about 2 weeks ahead of time and has made us dinner and show reservations every night. I'm curious to know how much everyone tipped their Genie at the end of their cruise? Thanks :)

What about tipping to these speciality restaurants? I know it was included for the Star Class but did you tip at these restaurants? Thank you !!

I thought it was an hour drive from Port Canaveral cruise port to Orlando airport? And it's only $18 ? That doesn't seem like much for that far away.

What is the best and fastest way to get from Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral? Our Ship Oasis of the Seas leaves out of Port Canaveral.

Coastal Kitchen is restricted to Grand Suite and above for breakfast and lunch, and possibly Junior Suite and above for dinner. Not sure if Allure has included JS for dinner like Oasis has.

 

The dinner menu changes once per cruise. The breakfast menu was the same every day. We didn't try it for lunch.

What are the menus like at the Coastal Kitchen? And if you are staying in a Grande Suite is it complimentary? And is it open every night ?

I have a question which will probably sound dumb... I am a Diamond Plus member so you would think I would know the answer but I do not. I will be cruising this month on the Allure of the Seas and this is the first time I have cruised on this class of ship. Is there no traditional dining on the Allure or is all My time dining for the main dining room? And all of the reservation times that my family dines are all taken. So how does that work? And will the concierge be able to help me with that?

Yes we are taking Spirit, I think the flight leaves around 8:30pm. If you get the room the night before wouldnt I have to check out at 11am or if I get it for the day, we couldnt check in until afternoon right?

Our flight does not leave until 9pm at night to go back home on a Sunday. We are leaving out of Fort Lauderdale. What can we do all day long??? We are a party of 5 with ages between 16 years old to 70 years old. Thank you!!!!

We leave out of Fort Lauderdale on the Independence of the Seas in 6 weeks and I need 2 rooms for 1 night pre-cruise. I shouldn't have waited until the last minute... I want to book 2 rooms today close to cruise terminal.

Well, it's all chain restaurants so it's hard to say which is the "best". You can walk to Ruby Tuesdays and IHOP from the hotel. The mall has a food court. Google the Jersey Gardens Mall to find out what they offer for food. The walk is a little further, but no worse than being in outer parking at a mall at Christmas. The Courtyard also has food service.[/quote

I am staying at The Courtyard Newark Elizabeth on Gilmcher RealtyWay... whats the best way to get to Cape Liberty cruise port for 5 people??

What is the best restaurant to eat at near hotel? I do know there is a mall across the street from the hotel.

OK I think I finally have most of this figured out...I am a suite guest so I am able to reserve at Barefoot Beach if there any still left. BUT which over the water Cabana is the best at Barefoot Beach??:confused:
