  1. The florist on the Rotterdam said the vases are made in Holland but there is no mark on the vase. On our trans Atlantic he ran out of some of the designs. I was hoping when we stopped in Rotterdam new ones would come on board but they didn’t. Disappointed in that.

Have a look at Google maps. To reach the North Sea from Amsterdam, you must exit through a lock at IJmuiden. Tides, weather and marine traffic can affect the transit times.

Until you receive your Boarding Pass Package shortly before embarkation, your departure time may change - so flexibility in your shore plans is important. If you are not doing so, you may want to arrive earlier in Amsterdam and avoid feeling rushed - the city is well worth it.

    Enjoy your cruise. 🍺🥌

Do the departures from Rotterdam have to go through the IJmuiden locks?  Or is it just departures from Amsterdam?  Thanks.

Oh no! I have always blacked mine out and haven't had an issue.

I suppose now if you move it has to be updated to match?

    I'm sorry.

Just faxed my copy of HAL shares to benefit department. (Fax 206-270-6080) Did not give my address. Just proof of 100 stock shares.  Home mailing address and brokerage account number BLACKED out.  Have to give complete legal name, booking /reservation number, ship name and sailing date no later than 3 weeks prior to sail date.

Received answer within half an hour!  OBC will be “credited to your onboard account upon embarkation “.
I was surprised to get a response so quick. Very easy.

Absolutely will be following!  Hope you post the activities/excursions you will be doing in each port.

  5. We will be going on the Rotterdam next April and have a few questions. On sea days does the ship provide any fun activities such as

Tai Chi classes or fun art classes?  We usually sail Celebrity and they usually had some type of art class so hoping Hal will too. Never seen Tai Chi offered but that would be such a great class to have on board. Easy to learn and getting in exercise as well.
