Virgin docks at the World Trade Center port, so you are not on the long pier at all. It is a 10 minute walk to the Columbus statue which is a major transportation hub in the city. Taxi to BCN in April people were reporting everything from 22 Euros (which is what I paid) to 35 Euros. There were plenty of cabs, both small and large available at the terminal. A regular cab will hold 2 people + luggage, but if you have a lot of luggage you may need the larger one. The large cab will hold up to 6 depending on amount of luggage. VV did offer transportation; I think it was $25 per person; the feedback was not good as they were supposedly quite disorganized.
A group on the cruise did their own early morning transport. They started with something like 52 Euros for a 6 person van, but had so much interest that they increases it to a 13 person van for $82 Euros; the group just split the cost. These were just people who signed up with the guy who organized it on our social media group. They did an early morning self disembarkation; meet the van at 7:45, van will depart at 8 whether all are present or not (the organizer had an early flight).
Overall, the terminal at the WTC port in Barcelona was A LOT better organized and run than our embarkation in Miami was!Thank you so much. We have light luggage and don't mind public transit, we have been to Barcelona a few times so know where the Columbus statue is, we will probably plan to take public transit then. Our flight leaves a bit before noon so we should have plenty of time. Great information!

Doing the transatlantic in April Miami to BCN. Does Virgin offer any transport to BCN airport? How long of a walk is it from where the ship docks to the end of the BCN pier?

We were in a similar situation and had our adult kids request the FCC be transferred to us. It is supposed to take 7 business days according to the NCL web site but has been 4 weeks so far.

Our FCC is showing under my husband's account. Not sure how long it has been there, we weren't checking his account. It has an expiry date and a sail by date of December 31, 2022.

Your FCC should have an expiration date of 5 June 2023.
Thanks! So we would have to cruise by next June or just book something by then, do you think?

Has anyone received the 20% back for the change in Baltic itinerary?
We were on the Getaway May 27th sailing. After our final payment date the itinerary was changed to exclude St. Petersburg (understandably). We were promised a 20% refund because of this. We paid for the cruise using credits from our cancelled 2020 cruise so was not sure what form this refund would take.
The letter said to wait 30 business days for the refund. Contacting NCL, was told the 30 business days were from the sail date, not the date of the letter. So I waited until today (July 15) which was 7 weeks from the sail date. Was told the refund would be in the form of a credit but wait 1 more week as it hasn't been deposited yet. No idea if there will be an expiry date on this credit (the NCL rep didn't know). Our original credit expired end of this year.

See attached wine package from Pride of America December 2018. Packages are 4/6/8 bottles. When you purchase the wine package, sales tax of a bit less than 5% and gratuity of 20% are added (this is the same with all beverage purchases throughout the cruise). You need to select the wines when purchasing but you can change them when ordering for another wine in the same grouping. You get a slip of paper for each bottle purchased which you present when ordering. Any unfinished bottles can be taken with you or put in storage. Wines in storage can be requested from any venue at a later time, this was actually quite easy and quicker than expected. Wines in a "lower" package can be substituted.
On Pride of America the Ultimate Beverage Package is not available. Wines by the glass are priced at approximately one quarter of the bottle price but there are more choices of wine by the bottle.
FCC - can it be transferred?

Eventually the FCC transfers came through and by combining all of them we were able to go on an Alaska cruise for not too much $ (we booked an inside and bid the minimum for an upgrade to a balcony and got it by the way).
