Hi Folks need your help and advice.

Due to my hearing disability we are looking to do a private small group tour of Florence/Pisa.  Can anyone recommend a company or give advice.

Good morning folks, need your assistance again.

We have cruised with Princess couple of times Prior to the Medallion App using freedom dining, we always just turned up at the restaurant and were given a pager if there wasn't a table available right away.

We are due to cruise on Enchanted Princess this summer, a relative who was on the Enchanted last month has told me I would be wise to book my freedom dining before we sail or we might not be able to get the usual times we eat which is anywhere between 7.15 and 8.45pm.  There were other passengers telling my relative that when they tried to book on the day they were been told they only had  6.15pm slots or late slots.   I thought the whole point of Freedom dining was just to turn up and take a pager if a table wasn't quite ready.   It seems with the medallion app people are booking before they even sail.  I don't really want to book until I know what's on and when, so I can build our dining around those events.

Can you please share your experiences of freedom dining with this new app.   Any info greatly appreciated.

Just got back last week.  Got a taxi in the port at Livorno intending to go to the station to go by train and he offered us a flat rate of 300ero for six of us to visit Pisa and Florence.  In Rome we hired Stefano rome tours in advance (we've had them before, they do other places as well) and have always been very good.

Good morning everyone,

Has anyone sailed in the above cabins and so could you give me further information regarding the obstructed view, I'm wondering if you will be able to see across the obstruction when sitting on the balcony or will you only get a view when standing.

I. have the photos from cruisedeckplans.com for these cabins Royal Princess 111 which they say are the same for Enchanted Princess, but its difficult to gauge.

Any information regarding obstructed view cabins greatly appreciated.

I'm sure some of you will have had a balcony cabin on Deck 8 (Emerald) above Princess Live, if so was your cabin affected by late night noise from the entertainment in Princess Live.

Oh dear! I honestly thought it would be generic for the whole of the EU 🤭and that you could just keep updating it with the different countries as you visited, this means forms for Italy, Greece and Croatia😒

Looks like it's a Covid-era thing specific to Malta, Italy and Slovenia.

It is related to covid and as far as I'm aware its for all EU countries (maybe it is just something that UK nationals have to complete) we had to show the QR code at the airport in Malta, It's just so they have info about where you are staying etc.

Hi folks, hoping you can help.

We are on a cruise with NCL later this month and can explore most ports on our own apart from Italy.

What is the procedure leaving/returning to ship, do you have to take a lateral flow test at each port, if so are these free or do you have to pay for them and if so how much do you have to pay.  Have been trying to get through to NCL but wait times on the phone are long and I'm sure there is someone out there who will be able to answer this.

WE are on the Getaway later this month, having left it til mid Sept to book  instead of constantly been cancelled.  We were advised can only leave the ship in Italian ports using NCL's tours, They are all quite expensive for what they are and as we did Naples with RCL in 2019 we may just do Florence.   I have queried with NCL that several of the excursions are misleading as they still say you will have free time on your own, they've confirmed that's not the case, but there doesn't appear to be any reduction in their hefty prices nor is there anything saying the free time will be replaced with additional places to visit.  They need to get their act together, they said they would pass on my query to the excursions team. I just keep hoping something will change in the next couple of weeks and that we will be allowed off ship on our own.

You probably have to fill a locator form if arrival Spain/Italy by air and then a separate form for each country.

Where does your cruise start and what is the itinerary.

We start off in Rome and sail to the Greek Isles and Dubrovnik then back to a couple of ports in Italy.

There is definitely an EU passenger locator form, we had to fill one in for our recent trip to Malta. Just not sure what happens if you are cruising to different countries.

 Hi folks, this may be a stupid question, but perhaps someone can confirm.

We are cruising in the med later this month all countries in the EU, we have to fill in EU passenger locator form.

I'm assuming we will just have to fill in the one form and just list all the ports we are going to.

Can anyone who has already cruised the med this summer confirm whether this is the case. Any help appreciated.

H Folks, does anyone know whether there is reduced passenger capacity on its late October sailing.  I know when they restarted sailing it was reduced to 60% but I can't find any current information.  Any help appreciated.

Whilst we've cruised a number of times, forthcoming cruise is our first with RCL.  Can anyone advise whether the Perfume onboard is likely to be any cheaper than duty-free at airports or more expensive.  Any info much appreciated.

Thanks for all your replies folks,  I'm thankful that the code of formal, semi-formal and smart casual has disappeared, but at the same time we do like to dress up on the formal nights, don't mind what anyone wears, but also don't want to stick out like a sore thumb in tux and long dress.

Hi Folks, once again I need your help.   We are cruising with friends on Jewel of the seas very soon.  Does RCL have an application that allows us to stay in contact by texting without incurring any charges. Or indeed are there any other apps that allow us to stay in contact with each other FOC.. I'm loath to pay for the wi-fi just to sent occasional text saying where are you.

Any help much appreciated.
