Proof Bar on deck 7. Good location - close to Atrium, Bliss lounge, and you can also see the seaview on promenade deck.
I'll 2nd Proof Bar. Best on the ship!!

I've been on the Pearl & Star this year and both had the regular hosted solo gathering. Lot's of fun both times.

How long did it take? I sent mine off 11 days ago and still nothing. First time I did this I had the confirmation within a couple days.
I emailed mine last Monday very early in day and received amenity confirmation next day

Yes, it was our first time on the Spirit.
Thanks for this review. The Spirit is 1 of the few NCL ships I haven't been able to book. Will explore the ship through your words and pics. Debbie

I'm also on this cruise, testing at 1:30, airport at 3. Fingers crossed. See you Friday. Debbie

Got mine about 40 days out. Leaving September 21st.

Main dining room will be open for a couple of hours. The local is another option
-
I had the premium plus drink package and was able to get Starbucks with no additional charge on disembarkation day

Limited food, think more grab n go snacks. Cookies, muffins, fresh fruit etc. There will be an amazing coffee machine that will provide American, Expresso, Latte type coffee both regular and decaf. There will also be fresh ice water, fruit juice not fresh, and an assortment of tea bags. The coffee machine provides hot water also.
Hope this helps

Sorry to dredge up a post that's a couple of months old, but has anyone had any luck with the cruises advertised with a Solo Cruise Discount? I have been trying all afternoon to speak with someone in resolutions, but keep getting "disconnected".
The cruise I'm looking at comes up in the search using the Solo Cruiser Discount and includes the icons both on the cruise itself and the specific room type I'm looking at. However, the price is the same whether I have 1 Guest or 2 Guests selected (with the exception of taxes/fees and free at sea gratuities). Has anyone had any luck actually getting one of these "less than 200%" discounts?
I just changed an upcoming cruise from Oceanview to balcony due to the solo cruiser discount yesterday. I called my PCC directly and gave me a BF guarantee with all FAS benefits for $400 less than Oceanview. Final payment is in 1 week. I'm happy

Not entirely true. Yes, That is true on the aft portion of the ship. But the front half of the ship has a mixture of insides and balconies. Even if you exclude the studios. Look at the deck plan for deck 14, for example. Many inside cabins that are not studios. Yet not as many as you would typically see in older ships.
I'm seeing that now, I just noticed it on deck 12 forward and thought that was an example. Hallux pointed out the other areas.

Right, but the studio area is clearly visible (decks 12 and 13 forward, though I'm not seeing a large area for the lounge), look at the rest of the decks and all the blank space with sporadic inside cabins.
I stand corrected

I don't follow you. The studio cabin area is quite obvious as there is an obvious cluster of studio cabins there, which is the opposite of what I pointed out to look at. Look at the deck plans for multiple decks that have the majority of the cabins. Compare the number of inside cabins to the number of outside cabins. Notice long stretches of hallway with no inside cabins.
Outside of the studios the hallways are balcony only no inside across as you describe

Looking at the posted deck plans, I found it interesting how few inside cabins there are on some of the decks that would traditionally have them. There are many places where there are balcony cabins on the outside and no inside cabins across from them in the hallway. You don't see that very often on other ships. The insides are sporadically placed on several of the decks. Nothing wrong with it. Just thought it was noticeably different from other ships I've seen.
That may be the enclosed studio area

I saw him on Joy in February. He confirmed joining Prima in August

We stayed in one on breakaway in May. Balcony was tiny but bathroom was amazing. Treats were a plate of candies and a plate of cookies. Both delivered mid afternoon. Laundry bag was same as platinum benefit bag. Would only book again if price was right.

Thanks Gary,
Love your posts, you have taught me so much. My last 2 cruises have been a step up because of your tips! Keep them coming. Debbie

It wasn't a liquor but the vibe bartender obtained passion fruit for my daughter and kept it chilled all week for her. Another passenger got them to stock a beer for the week as well. I realize neither is part of premium package but it's worth asking them to stock for you

Definitely worth it in May for my daughter and I. Loved not having to look for a lounger, plus the padding is a nice plus! Staff will move umbrellas for you if you need/want shade. Fruit skewers and fruit infused ice water regularly provided. If you drink, the bartenders entertain and there's usually a few shots to be had. The main pool was packed, Vibe was a refreshing respite

Update: they finally responded this morning and requested additional info. I provided so hopefully I'll have my OBC shortly.

This port intrigued me so I'm booked on Sky 9/21-10/2. As a long time south Florida resident I'm looking forward to changing weather and views. Been on sky several times
