I will have to try Normandie again; I am sure it will excellent. I was on Regent cruises in the past; and I have to say the food was outstanding and just as good as Luger's and the palm - they use all prime meats and chefs from the culinary school in Paris.. (are able to enjoy the inimitable culinary artistry of Paris' famed Le Cordon Bleu chefs in the ship's Signatures restaurant)

This was by far my favorite food of any ship I have sailed; the price of the cruise is the worst part but after that its amazing.

I agree -- when its $100 for dinner they price themselves out. I bet the place is empty as it seems so many specialty restaurants are less busy on all ships as they raise the prices. I heard that normandy is not busy.

I was wondering if the scooter rentals are good? I read its around $50 a day or so depending on which one you rent... Is it worth it to rent it for two days and drive around the island.

I ate 10 years ago on the normandie and I think the price was like.... $20 then I heard its $40 - then $45 and now $50 .. when does it end.. I think eventually you price yourself out of the market because $100 for two becomes costly.

We decided to go with the Aqua class this time. Wanted to try something new and eat in BLU... one night of course is the Normandy and I hear its $45 PP but you can get discounts during the cruise?

You are so so right! park west are a bunch of crooks; many many years ago when I was naive I bought a picture. When I got home they called me to say they lost it? I said cancel it and I ended up getting it for half the price at another auction house locally with no fees.

then they called me up and tried to talk me into buying another one because they found it in the inventory. I said no of course-- this is the best part. They billed me and did not want to issue me a credit for months so I acrrued finance charges and they were reluctant to take them off. They wanted me to pay finance charges on a painting I never got because they billed me. I told them after months of fighting I am going to sue you in court. Eventually they took it off but it was a huge hassle. I would not buy from them for FREE.

I have the premium beverage package and am more of a beer drinker. Does the package include the pub ? Can you have the beers in the pub ? not sure if all the bars drinks are included -- thanks

Glad you had a great time! I am leaving this sunday. what dining plan did you take? we have the anytime and was wondering if it really works with minimal waits? How was the food overall ? Did it feel crowded? I was on summit 10 years ago to Alaska and loved it.
