Does anyone have pics of Penthouse Suites? Is thermal spa included with this suite? 

Has anyone done this tour? What did you think? We are doing before our British Isles tour with Princess

They always had the air going in the day before but didn't book the hotel until a month or so before. Princess did not allow them to add on an additional day like they do in Alaska (through Princess). So their agent booked it for them.

 

They had to arrange their own cab to the hotel and they did get reimbursed for their costs.

Thanks, I was just wanted to make pretty sure this is the hotel as I am a planner and want to go ahead and book a few days ahead of the tour start date. Happy New Year!

Can you tell me which hotel is used in Shannon? We are looking to go in early and would love to be at same hotel ? I heard the tour part is run by Globus?

Really appreciate your review! We are going in May! This helped me alot with research as it is nice to hear first hand about tour operators and what to do to maximize your time . We only have a day or 2 in London so the part on London also helped tremendously. Hope to see you around cruising!

Personal preferences are what they are (I think Cagney's is great and Moderno is trash; others disagree) but the one piece of advice I'd give you is that if you are doing specialty restaurants, book pre-cruise. We were on a 7-day Western last February and all our reservations were honoured as expected, but we still had to line up to register (of course). There wree never more than 3-4 parties ahead of us. Without fail, the people with reservations were seated and the walk-ups were turned away. Occasionally, the walk-ups were told they could come back around 9-ish if they liked.

 

We got the Spa pass and Vibe pass and thought they wre amazing. Next time we would just get one or the other, not both, but wouldn't want to be without one. It's nice to be able to be out of the room but away from the crowds.
