thanks one sixty to one - How do you choose the time? First come, first served ( based on Room Class)?

We are on Viking coming up.  Could anyone tell me what time the complimentary Viking excursion starts?  We want to book other tours after or before the Viking excursion in a port.

That's what we are doing instead of the plan offered by Azamara.  Sorry I can't comment on the experience, as I haven't.
