On our trip to Alaska on HAL Veendam, we had aft cabin 223. Big balcony(but did not go clear around) and a very quiet corner of the ship. Would love to do another aft cabin but this was an upgrade and we normally would not be able to afford to book it.

We saw her in the dining room and other places aboard the ship afterwards and she was always alone. Never saw him again, maybe he left the cruise early.

While waiting for an elevator aboard Infinity, there was a man and woman also waiting.

He very casually looked at her and said "I brought you on the cruise to let you down easy. I filed for divorce before we left home." And he walked away. I don't know what happened after that because the elevator came, I got on and she didn't.

Thank you Tweedy for the restaurant suggestions. We didn't necessarily want Asian but it looked like that was about all that was around. We mostly wanted something we could afford the night before our cruise:D.

We are staying the night at the Airport Hilton in August before our Alaska cruise. It looks like there are mostly Asian restaurants nearby. Do you have a suggestion for a good one? Would prefer something casual and not real expensive. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

I love this board and have learned so much about Vancouver. Wish we were staying a couple of nights but time won't allow.
