  1. I purchased a very large duffle with wheels that could go on the plane with me.

I had my dress a long train shoes hair pieces all together. I rolled my dress and long train for the least amount of wrinkling. I had my shoes in a shoes bag at the bottom and my jewelry on the side in a pouch. I put the overhead on the plane. It worked perfect.

My dress was an A line and my detachable train was about 10 ft. all chiffon and lace.

if you have satin you are going to be really wrinkled no matter what. If a ball gown it’s going to really be a challenge depending on how wide it gets. I hope this helps.

  2. I was on the Divina on March 10th and March 13th, which turned out to be the last cruise.

First of all they took every passengers temperature getting on the ship, also when we came back from port and before we debarked.

They had crew sanitizing the ship all the time. Especially things that were touched a lot. If you used a pen it was sanitized after. They did a great job.

After the first leg of our cruise I was wondering if we would be cancelled since lots of passengers cancelled the March 13th cruise.

The cruise went on.  Yea! There was about half the people everywhere. No lines at anytime. The crew were organizing at a moments notice and with a smile.

Our ship was banned from San Juan and St Marteen. So our ship and NCL got together (maybe other cruise lines too) and traded private islands.

So we went to NCls private island and MSCs. I was fine with that they are really nice islands set up great for passengers.

The crew brought everything off the ship from lunch and drinks. You would have never known it was spur of the moment.

Since it was the last cruise most of the crew was leaving the ship and had no idea where at the time since most of their home countries were closed.

I will tell you MSC made sure all of us had a great cruise no matter what. If a passenger didn't it was their fears or upset due to not going on the islands planned.

No one was sick on our ship and we all had the best time. It was more scary getting off the ship, It was like being in a twilight zone. At the airport, on the plane, how things were handled.

I was more afraid on the plane. We cleaned our area with alcohol wipes and stayed away from people. There was only about 1/2 the passenger on the plane and some wearing their mask and gloves.

I congratulate MSC cruise line for getting in front of the situation and taking control of everything. Taking care of their crew and passengers.

I would be proud to sail their cruise line again. It was eye opening.

    Thank you MSC

  3. Regarding adding friends, with what information do you add in? Their phone number, their cabin number?

I have a big gang of people going and I would like to be able to tell them.

    Thanks

  4. Thank you Rattanchair,

Finally someone who understood what I was speaking about.   All this tax and percentage made no sense at all.

I guess you have to experience Vishnu to understand as we have. Right Max996?  Now it makes we wonder if you don't have Vishnu what experience will I have then. I just wanted to have my ducks in a row when it comes to tipping a butler since this is new to me.

Im sailing on the Divina in spring with about 20 other people. Its going to be my wedding/honeymoon. We are all in the YC and Im wondering how they are going to plan our sitting in the YC restaurant. Ha Ha It really doesn't matter.

I became engaged on the Seaside last year. I have to say with the YC experience that was the best cruise Ive ever been on and Ive been on about 60.There was about 8 of us on that cruise. My son got married in Miami and we all went on a cruise. It was so nice in the YC experience I felt like I didn't want to be with all the crowds. If they had a casino for the YC I could have just stayed there the entire time.  The Seaside has a great design with everything in the same area for the YC. I see that is a little different on the Divina. They have the restaurant on the back of the ship and YC is at the front. Its all great though, to have such a problem to have to walk to our exclusive dining. Ha Ha

Well I hope all you people experience Vishnu one day and you know experience the magic spell.  Vishnus ears must be ringing.

    in 5 languages.

    thanks

  5. Our butler made sure where we were on the ship and try to bring us something to make it better.

We were at the yacht club pool, he found out what all of us in our group were drinking

and brought us all extra.  We were at the grill having lunch he brought us all gelato.

He made sure we had our favorite wine in our cabin that he gave to us . Not a cheap bottle.  He found out we were at the slide and brought us towels. This is off the top of my head.

  6. Hello

I have a large gang of people going on the Divina for a 3-4 day cruise.  I need to find out if they have a formal night on the cruise for everyone.

Other short cruises they had 1 but I don't know MSC policy. Ive tried to find online with no luck.

    thank you

  7. Hello

We are doing guest bags I will give to each couple before the cruise.

Im creating Cruise Survival Kits for them. I have a small bag with personalized sticker filled with items for hangover, sunburn, sewing, earplugs etc. Most of our guest have never gone on a cruise or don't think about bringing these things.

    Funny and practical.

  8. Oh so sorry Gary,

i judge the cabins location by the usual aft shape. I actually had to check to make sure I was wrong. Ha ha

So you haven’t been on the Divina or been in the cabin but been on the sister ship?

I guess we are both are making assumptions. Ha ha

Anyone else seen cabin 16001 on the Divina can compare to side Yacht Club balconies?

This is our honeymoon cabin and I’m trying to make sure my husband to be has a nice balcony.  He has a very stressful work and he loves sitting out there distressing.

He is trying to make all our dreams come true.

  9. Hello Experts

Im in cabin 16001 which Yacht Club Aft deck 16. On the deck map that cabins deck looks slightly larger than starboard and port balconies.

Does anyone know that is so or just the how they made the deck map look?

MSC customer service do not know.

    Thanks

    Brenda

  10. HI Mickey

Because the price is way higher now and I would lose at least my discount from viewing the Belissima.

You could only use it at the time once. I had to update my sons cabin and luckily the discount codes were still going on I could get another.

  11. Hello Experts,

I booked a Yacht Club  cabin on the Divina on an 11 day cruise not knowing its a steel balcony. When I go in to check cabins available for the 11 days it only shows another one that is the same. This cruise is a 4 day back to Miami then 8 day and we booked the entire 11 days.  When I break down the cruises I can see in the Yacht Club there are various cabins open for the 4 and 8 that we could be changed  that match. Example 15033 on the 4 day and 15033 on the 8 day. There was about 5 to choose from.  I called twice but they will not let me change my cabin.  Now this is my honeymoon and I don't want to sit on my balcony and not see the ocean. They only way to see the ocean is if we are standing.

We also have 8 other Yacht Club cabins of people going with us. It seems like that would show enough incentive to make an exception but the supervisors and the customer service have said no. Its not how their inventory is.  Ive been cruising too long and I know this can be done.  I sent an email to some department that take complaints but it maybe a black hole.

Has anyone had any experience or idea what would be a good way to get this done besides watching everyday for it to change?

    Thanks
