We will be right there with you.  If you are healthy, go on that vacation and just take the recommended precautions.  Washy Washy Washy!!!!  The media gives only the information that scares the crap out of everyone.  We have the same issues, dogs and jobs.  Just put a plan in place to take care of it. 

In port until 11pm and am looking for something to do other than go to a restaurant. Any suggestions for bars, nightclubs close to port?

We will be in room 9390 for the third time on Adventure. We really love it. In my honest opinion, there isn't much of an obstruction.

Thank you! We've been to VC several times and each year it's gotten more and more crowded as more people of "discovered" it. The last time the chair/umbrella guys were constantly yelling and fighting with each other. It got a bit irritating. Hoping to have a nice quiet day at Darkwood.

Were there chair rentals available?

Any specifics on the Catamaran excursion? We've been to St. Lucia twice doing 2 difference tours with Spencer, but we have a larger group this time and would like to try the Catamaran.

When we were there last year, we had the same issue with multiple drop-offs, etc. We arranged for our driver to pick us up at a certain time. We waited 30-40 minutes then were in fear of missing the ship so we starting hiking it back. It's not a short walk. We came upon a taxi (van) and the man was just sitting there. We asked him if he was waiting on a party of people and he said "no". We told him we would pay him extra to get us back to the port. He relunctantly agreed, but was very nice about it. When we got close to port we told him he could just drop us off so he didn't have to deal with the chaos inside the gate. He appreciated that very much.

So, FYI, don't wait TOO long if you are expecting a pick up. Have a bar call a taxi for you.

Lesson learned.

Not that we need anything else to eat, but...you can ask one of the bartenders for trail mix in the bars...nice little snack between meals if you need one.
