We were on the Enchanted for a 10 day southern Caribbean cruise in Dec. 2023 in cabin # E701 cat. me.
We experienced heavy seas the last 3 or 4 days of the cruise. Had much squeaking, knocking and banging. Could not get much sleep for 3 nights. Reported this condition to quest services on the first day and had our room steward acknowledge the noises and he passed this on to his higher-ups. We inquired about a resolution each day to guest services and their manager.
No one from maintenance showed up until the last day, and said nothing could be done. Shims have been placed in the ceiling and walls previously to no avail. This is an existing problem from the start in many cabins.
The cabin next door did not have this problem but many others have.
Research your cabin for noise problems in rough seas.
Other then this issue, the cruise was great.

@roxannex My wife can't drink because of a-fib. I'm not even doing the non-alcohol package because I have finally broken the soda addiction. Regular iced tea and coffee are fine with me. We will bring ginger ale for my motion-sensitive wife.
As to alcohol, I will bring 1 bottle of wine (nice little pinot noir, my wife likes the bouquet) for my minimal wine needs (leave bottle in cabin and take glass to dinner = no corkage fee). I also bought a 1 liter bottle of Glenlivet as a "gift" to our cabin (got it at 20% off during a sale; bonus: no gratuity!), so I won't be spending any money on board. Total investment in beverages, about $140.
Here's the alcohol gift link if you want to have a bottle delivered to your cabin:

Have you received this recently? Good deal if it is still available.

I like to rinse the glass with vermouth then pour out and fill with vodka. I had one at a restaurant that was almost sweet. Was it the vermouth?I enjoy my vodka martini's this way also. Ordered as an "in and out"

I received a new invoice indicating that my port taxes have been adjusted for an extra $52.02 per person for a total of $104.04.
This is for the May 5th, 2024 sailing on the Beyond. We had placed our deposit in June 2023. Never had a new invoice issued for a change
in port taxes before. Anyone else experience this or is it a normal happening?
My T/A was told more of this will be forthcoming.

Maybe RoyalUp will work for you. Hope so.
In the meantime, learn the exact category code of your cabin to be (example 4V or whatever). Once your cabin assignment becomes official, you can see if any cabins in that exact category in a location you prefer are available. Someone may cancel, so a balcony may become available by then. If so, call your TA (if you used one or RCI (if you booked direct) and politely ask if they will allow you to switch. If no better located cabins are available right then, keep watching: sometimes one pops up. If it does, call quickly before someone else grabs it.
Thank you. I will watch for this.

Also look for price drops in higher categories and other locations in your existing category once the assignment is official.

Unfortunately, it is probably correct. Those are the chances you take when booking a GTY.
Agree.

Better get used to it (or start looking for alternates) as it's very unlikely to change.
It was a decision I made, and will live with it. (and hope I hit a Royal Up bid.)

Location.

I have an android and I downloaded a barcode reader app from play store to my phone. I scanned the barcode from a printed copy of the set sail pass and it showed a 4 digit cabin # at the end of the set of numbers. (hoping its not correct).

Automatic 18% grats on the charge and the charge is for one dinner. I tip extra to compensate.
Thank you. Never used the BOGO. Will use it on our upcoming cruise in April.

Do you pay gratuities for 2 dinners for the BOGO when booking, or just for the one charge?
-
I applied an fcc to an existing booking for April 2023 and was denied the OBC. Told it had to be a new booking.

I heard that they are having a supply problem getting the 350ml bottles of some of the liquors.
On our last cruise, I ordered a bottle of rum and a bottle of gin and received 2 bottles of gin and no rum.

Just now. Finally able to get cruise pricing after 3 days of white screens.

Still not working for me in Ohio.

Thanks for the price drop info. I am still getting white screen on the RC site after I enter a date and port. Anyone else still getting that white screen? Any suggestions to get my site going? I have a google chomebook and an Ipad. TIA
I am still getting the white screen.

White screen since yesterday on phone and computer.

I am getting a "white screen" also. Tried several browsers - firefox, chrome & aol.

You would think that they would have given an OBC for the value of the BOGO.

Celebrity vs Princess
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
The Enchanted Princess was launched in 2021 and holds 3660 passengers.
Don't know if they figured out the cause.
