Now you tricked me too, Micah :)

I logged on one day for my May cruise, and it was available, so i took it. I was thinking of cancelling, but it seems like that might be silly to do. We are driving down from NJ so no real rush... so is it worth it? For HMC, can you just go down to the tender whenever you want? or do you have to meet at the certain time?
-
I am on the week before you, on the May 3rd cruise. I would hate for this issue to not be fixed or cause other issues. I dont mind the port change though
-
oh i'd miss the chilled soups too!
so a bread box instead of indivually handed rolls? lol
-
Were the American Table and American Feast menus on this cruise? Did you like them? I am going May 3rd.
-
I wonder if there is one when there is only one Sea Day. I am on the Liberty in May and there is only one sea day so i imagine that will be the sea day brunch
-
I am trying to decide between the two also for May 3rd, 2015 and i HAVE been on both. the adventure will cost us about 200 more total, but it is one day less (6 days b/c it is transitioning from sun - sun to sat - sat). I liked liberty b/c it had the 2.0 upgrades which make it pretty nice. it is my bf's first cruise though and think he will like RC more. decisions, decisions..

I love your little maps for the beaches and cruise terminal very helpful... Do you have one to show where the I Love Aruba sign is? lol thanks

Can you order more than one of each "section" or is it one app, one pasta, one entree, and one dessert per person?

Has anyone off a cruise gone to the Marriott Stellaris Resort for the day lately? i Went about 6 years ago and it was a nice spot, reasonable rentals, went to hotel restaurant.
-
Does anyone have a coffee shop menu for the Promenade Cafe on Adventure? Is it a regular Starbucks menu?
-
thanks, for some reason couldnt find the port of call section before. i guess cause i was on my phone lol
-
It's been about 5 years since I have been to Aruba on a cruise, but last time we took a cab To The Marriott Stellaris Resort, paid probably no more than 10 bucks for a beach chair, and hung out there for the day. We ate in their restaurants, etc. and no one bothered us. Is that still allowed to be done?

thanks so much! it's blocked at work but i'll definitely check it out later!

I know the AOS just went back to San Juan, but anyone out there have any cruise compasses yet to share? :D

I would not choose either of them.
Why limit yourself to cruises out of Puerto Rico?
In know they have the best itineraries but the ships not very good choices.
Plus, you have been on them before.
You should try something new.
Take a cruise out of Miami, or Lauderdale, they have the best ships...
I have been on every itinerary and Southern is BY FAR my favorite itinerary. Also, we are limited to doing a Sunday - Sunday cruise as my BF needs to do work Saturdays and can only miss one. Out of the Sunday - Sunday cruises, this was the best option. Plus, the price differences to sail from PR more than make up for the slight increase in airfare to PR as opposed to FL during that time.

I have sailed Carnival 20+ times before they changed the VIP programme, I am also a D+ member on RCCL, for me its RCCL Adventure which I have sailed on 8 time 4 being transatlantic crossings. Maybe you can tell me your cruising history so we can see if you have any past guest benefits
I have been on about 6 or 7 Carnival Cruises and 1 Royal.

Looking to book the A Itinerary for March 1st.. St Thomas St Kitts Curacao and Aruba... Actually I have both that and the Valor booked and have a week to decide between the two.. Same price
-
Quest is great... I remember they asked for someone's false teeth... my uncle volunteered his... and then the girl was told to put it in her mouth... and she did without hesitation... the things people do for cruise fame!
-
thanks all!
i am leaning royal... i really do enjoy the royal promenade and the extra shows... i feel like for his first cruise and him being a little skeptical of the caribbean, that curacao and aruba are more touristy and bright and colorful for his liking lol.
i have been on several out of san juan (carnival 2x and royal 1x) and i think the craziness was more on carnival with the pushing, running, shoving into elevators, etc.
My flight from Newark, NJ to San Juan is a lil steep... almost 500pp... but the cruise price difference makes up for it and i love the southern itineraries.

I went on AOS in 2010 and thought this was pretty cool! Do they still do it? Possibly going on AOS in March
-
First off, haven't been on here in a while, haven't cruise in a few years but... before i say anything... I have been on BOTH of these ships (Adventure in April 2010, Valor in May 2007) and been to every port on both itineraries. I am going on March 1, 2015 with my boyfriend, who has NEVER been on a cruise and never been to any Caribbean Islands LOL. Which would you recommend for him? I know I have a slight leaning toward the Adventure Ship Wise but A slight leaning toward the Valor Itinerary. Price is not a concern as with the current deal Royal nets out to $17 more LOL.
Also, do they still do a sail away parade on the promenade and the QUEST game show? I really liked those.
