We didn't order it, but the server brought it anyway. It was one of his recommendations. Lol. Julie said it was not that good. The potatoes were cold.

That looks like the meatloaf available in the MDR on our British Isles cruise 4 years ago (Silhouette). I had it; the flavor was okay, but the look and "mouth feel"/texture was really off-putting to me. Not something I'd ever order again. The others at our table who ordered it had the same reaction.

I'm really enjoying the live blog! I've always been tantalized by a trans-ocean cruise, but not sure how I'd react to so many at-sea days in a row.

I think they are but not sure since I've always upgraded my niece to the premium non alcoholic package. It's only about $33 for a 7 day cruise and she likes her virgin mudslides and such

Thanks!  I don't really care about the frozen drinks (or the premium water), but would like to be able to get the others. I'm on a 14-night cruise, so the difference in price adds up. I don't plan on buying the package until the morning after the day we board, so I can find out for sure when I get on the ship. If they aren't covered, I may decide to upgrade.

Yes you can but they are asking about the classic non alcoholic package. Classic alcohol package would include the frozen drinks up to $9 but classic non alcoholic does not include the frozen drinks.

Do you know if the classic non-alcoholic package covers the other Zero Proof drinks, like the fancy lemonades, fizzes, etc.? I had the classic package on my last cruise, but that was four years ago, and I can't remember if it covered them or not.

  4. I bring my own hair dryer, and shampoo/conditioner. If I can pick up a good hand soap before getting on the ship, I will do that, too, but won't bother bringing from home. I also bring a "mascot," like a Funko figurine.  Other than that, just normal clothing/shoes/electronics. No food; there's plenty on the ship. However, if I see an interesting snack item in a port of call that I can't get at home, I'll pick up a couple to eat on board or take back.

It was really only an issue early in the morning. Otherwise the cabin is great and a great location. Also, if you have the same room steward, Joachim, he is fantastic. Our room was spotless and he is so nice and pays attention to when you leave the room so he can service it. Have fun!

Thanks!  We are both early risers, so it shouldn't be a problem.

  6. I've read through this entire thread, and am very appreciative of the great information. Thanks everyone, especially ailetoile for the great FAQ.

Of course, I do still have a couple of questions. :p I'm trying to decide between the Classic non-alcoholic and the Premium non-alcoholic packages. My first question is, does Celebrity have the flavored San Pellegrino (orange, cranberry-orange, lemon, etc.), or just the plain sparkling water? I don't care for unflavored sparkling water, but love the flavored San Pellegrino, so it would be worth the difference in price just for those if they are available.

Second, I know that the Premium covers non-alcoholic frozen drinks and smoothies, but does it cover other non-alcoholic drinks? I note on the Preismans' menus (another great resource!) that there are several "zero-proof" non-alcoholic drinks available at various bars. Are these included in either of the non-alcoholic packages?

Thanks for any help! My cruise is now just under two weeks away, and I can't wait to be onboard again!
