  1. Thanks for all your replies!  We plan to use it to go from the port area to Kaanapali, then back to the Old Lahaina Luau, then back to the ship after that.  Seems like buying the day pass is the way to go!  We can always fall back on an Uber if we need to.

  2. Does anyone have any experience with Maui Bus in and around Lahaina?  Is it a do-able form of transport for a schedule that's not too tight?  Or are we better off just catching an Uber or Lyft?  Thanks!

  3. Hey, there!  We are booked with a tour company out of Hilo for a volcano biking tour, however are concerned that it is going to get cancelled.  They don't actually "confirm" the tour until they reach the minimum number of participants, which from what I can tell can be all the way up to the day prior to the tour.  We will be in Hilo on September 18, so time is getting pretty short!  Just wondering if anyone has any experience with doing a tour with bikevolcano dot com on a cruise, or if you could recommend another company that has a more concrete confirmation system.  Thanks!

  4. Hey, cruisers!  For those of you who have rented a car while in Kauai, about how long would you say it took from cruise ship to sitting in the car?  I understand we will have to take a shuttle to the airport to pick up the car.  Any input is appreciated!  Thanks!

  5. Hello!  We are looking to rent a car for 1 day in Kauai.  Can anyone help me to understand how this works?  And give recommendations as to which company to book from that will shuttle us from the cruise port to the car?  Thanks!

  6. We had a central park balcony room on deck 14 on oasis. Not under the kids pool, but the one right across it. I don't remember ever being really bothered by the noise from above, although we did hear some occasionally. Mostly deck chairs being drug around. We loved the location, though! Just 1 deck up to pick up breakfast, then 1 deck down back to the room for breakfast on the balcony!

  7. We were on the Oasis last year for Super Bowl. They have several venues available to watch the game. We went to the amphitheater in the aft where they do the diving shows (forgot what it's called now), and had a great time! They had a big spread of hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, cake, etc. They even do a cool water show when a team scores. I was really impressed! Get there early if you want one of the lounger chairs. We sat on the benches, and it was fine.

  8. Hello! This question is for you seasoned Serenade cruisers. I have a spa voucher from my TA (woop!). I don't think I'm interested in getting a massage or anything like that, because honestly, I don't think the voucher will cover the price. I wouldn't usually book anything in the spa unless I had this voucher. So, the question is... Does the Serenade have a Thermal suite or something of the sort that my be covered by my voucher? If so, does anyone have any info about how much a pass to the suite would cost for a single/couple? Also, are there free steam rooms/saunas on the Serenade? Thanks!
