We are doing NCL for the first time in Jan. We are on an 11 day Western Caribbean. My question is about the 5 free dining nights we have. I would love to pick them in advance but would want to see what is in the main dining room first. I have searched the web for menus but to no avail. I expect I have to wait until on the ship and then they pay venues may be getting full. We are traveling in a party of 6 and will probably dine together so was hoping to not wait until the last minute. Does anyone know where to find the menus I may be missing? How do you do it?

The Breakaway is not currently sailing from NY. She left a couple of years ago. But will return for a few months next fall (if that is what you are asking about).
Yes, we sail 11/9/20

Where does the Breakaway depart NY from? Manhattan or Brooklyn Cruise Terminal?
-
Just to clarify. In terminal 29 there was a seating area designated for concierge. Just a seating area, not a special lounge. Was nice to be gathered up and taken to ship. At debarkation, there was a special lounge with continental breakfast.
Does this include Aqua Class?

Bummer, thanks anyway.

Do any of the Aqua Class Cabins on the Celebrity Equinox sleep more than 2 people?

Do any of the accessible rooms on the Equinox Aqua Class sleep more than 2 people?

Is Spice H2O open that day? If so, that would be a great place to meet - lots of room

Some of the aft balconies are Handicapped accessible and cannot be reserved on websites. You need to phone NCL directly.

I know there is a dedicated room service menu with a minimum $7.95 service charge. I was wondering if we were able to order from the main restaurant for dinner to be served in our cabin? Thanks
-
With four of you in the same cabin, you should consider an aft balcony. The balconies are MUCH bigger than the sides.

Go to NCL's website and check out the video about the thermal spa

We cruised just this Jan. We had to wait a bit for a wheelchair curbside but no problem. I ordered a scooter in advance and it was there waiting for us just past security before check in. It was a godsend as some of the piers are Very long. Check out "Special Needs at Sea.com"

Carnival tried it and it bombed for them.

Sailed on the MSC Divina twice, both times in the YC. It was amazing! The ship is beautiful and the staff was awesome. The YC made it just perfect, but a little on the pricey side. We had an aft balcony on the Getaway (and the drink package) which made it much more affordable than MSC.

My DH is handicapped and needs to rest at times. The TV keeps me occupied as I can't leave him alone.

Thanks! :D

Does anyone know who offers parasailing where you take off directly from the deck of the boat and land on the boat without ever getting your feet wet?
-
MSC has a non smoking casino and they are very strict about designated smoking areas.

Does anyone know if there are lockers available for the swim up bar in the port?
-
Are there lockers to rent near the pool with the swim up bar at the port?

For 9 people, an Uber X (holds up to 4) and Uber XL (holds up to 6) will cost between $90 and $115 according to their fare estimator. We have never had to wait long for them. (Average 8 minutes). They are all over the place when the ships come in.
Health Protocols for Cruises Through February 28, 2022

This is straight off the princess website today:
The 2-day period is 2 days before your cruise’s departure. The 2-day timeframe provides you with more flexibility than a 48-hour timeframe. By using the 2-day window, your test validity does not depend on the time of your embarkation or the time of the day that your test was administered. For example, if sailing on Sunday, the test may be taken on Friday and Saturday, and as late as Sunday, if you are guaranteed to receive your results in time for check-in.
