We have a tight flight back after back in Vancouver.  Already bought the proctored tests. Ughhhh

How do you connect to the app onboard to take the monitored Covid test the day before flying home to the USA. Does it go through the Free Medallion app or do you  use a free WiFi connection somewhere on the ship?  We will not be purchasing an internet package.  Our group is very confused how to do it and Princess doesn't give me a specific "how to" answer.

I wasn't happy that Princess stopped free onboard testing for guests AFTER we booked.  I certainly don't want to have to pay for internet to take the test.

Was anyone successful in asking for a credit for having to buy the tests?

These names refer to the dock used.  You can go to this website and see where your ship is docking.

Some docks are right in town, but Skarfabakki is 1 1/2 miles out of town.  On our tour we just booked it had a drop down menu that you pick your location for pick up. 

I  verified with the tour operator the pick up location before I paid online and chose the pick up location.

I also found that there would be a shuttle to city center from Skarfabakki dock.  May or not be offered free by ships.  Otherwise 45 min walk.

Will be sailing on the Oosterdam. Does anyone have copies of the ships daily programs newsletter? Just interested in what is offered daily.

We are booked on a Viking - Amsterdam to Budapest river cruise and wonder if there are any guidebook pocket maps you could recommend that show all the Landmarks along the river with explanations.

Thank you for the fabulous review. We appreciate the time it took to put it together!! We love to snorkel. Did you hear comments from others as to companies that went to great reefs etc on the trip?

Also, mentioned checking in to the ship at 11am. Did you actually check in all your luggage and get ID card and have your room at that time? We have a group and are planning our day around the check in process since we arrive a day early.

How long of a walk from the pier to the education center? Can't find any maps of city online.

I arranged a flight layover in Rarotonga from 7am till midnight. What would you recommend a not to miss?

Best Beaches, snorkeling, any sail trips?

Would you recommend a day pass to a resort and who does that?

Can we rent a car easily at the airport and do on our own?

How long will it take to drive around the island and is that necessary?

What about the Mass times?

One other question as I am dizzy from reading this thread for the last 5 hours!.

We only have 4 hours to spend unfortunately arrive 8am and depart 1pm and want to go to Mass as well. Am I correct in reading that there are only 3 entrances to the Wall and these are also the exits? Are there other ways off the wall if it is getting late and we need to depart for the ship?

It will depend on the Mass times as to when we decide to go up the wall. So sad to only have so little time with this stop!!!!

We just booked the 3 hours trek per your advise BQ. More time the better. Going all the way to Alaska, not going to skimp on the experience of a lifetime. Rave reviews everywhere I look for the 3 hour trip.

Decided on this rather that Taku floatplane. Want a little more adventure.

Siily question, but what kind of shoes should we bring for this trek?

Need advice on either 2 or 3 hour trek in Juneau. This will be our big splurge in Alaska. We are mid fifties, exercise 3 times a week at the Y, average shape I quess. Is the 3 hour trek very difficult? Is this something the average person can do or should we stick to the 2 hour hike?

Big decision and need advice from those who went.

( If I can do Zumba for 1 1/2 hours can I do the 3 hour hike. LOL)
