Oasis data point from 2 weeks ago:
Officially you got 2 tries per cruise. In reality it was 3 to 4 tries if you were close to making it and 2 if you wiped out really quick. No help or hand holding. I did observe employees ask people on 2nd/3rd day...."Didn't you try yesterday?". Some people did try to come again as you don't have anything on record for having tried but most were sent away. Lines were shorter than my last pre-covid cruise as a result.

They had decoy on my cruise on allure about 4 months ago , it was about 13 a glass and it was a Cabernet. I normally order that on rccl and celebrity cruises, it is my favorite wine covered by the package.
I guess I was just unlucky on the Oasis this month. I would have preferred Decoy over what we had.
On a positive note I was able to get Chandon sparkling wine in some venues instead of the generic Brut. That was unexpected.

Agree with previous posters on several fronts:
- By the glass selection are inconsistent amongst the various venues. Super annoying.
- I like Cabs. At most there were 2 available at or below $13. Usually just one. That one was a $10 retail bottle (Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon). That does not scream "deluxe".
- Giovanni's at Oasis didn't have a single Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. How is the even possible??
- Given the choices of liquor (Grey Goose, Belvedere, Bombay Sapphire) I would expect more from the "included" wines. Totally understand you can't get $50+ bottles (Caymus, Stag's Leap, etc.) but what about some that retail in the $25 range? Daou, Unshackled, Conundrum, etc?
- Someone mentioned Decoy. What varietal was it and where was it offered? By the glass? Never saw it.
- The markup on Caymus seemed reasonable for a restaurant but was a tough sell for me given when we spend on DBP.
- Next time I think I will bring some nice(r) bottles. I like that strategy for dinner.

A list today will have no meaning at all for mid-April.
Protocols change almost day by day.
Understood. I know there is risk. Just curious if Nassau and San Juan are "open" or not today. I would expect things to only improve for the next 45 days.

Is everyone fully vaccinated?
Yes.

I remember reading a while back that certain destination would not allow passengers on the island without a RCCL sponsored excursion. Is that still in effect? Is there a list somewhere? Specifically I like to know about Nassau and San Juan. In both places I would like to do my own tours. My cruise is middle of April.

I used a portion of me FCC for a April 2022 cruise. Can I use the remainder for an additional cabin on the same ship/itinerary or can it only be used on a cabin that I occupy?

related question....someone mentioned that wine is included in Coastal Kitchen. Is that correct? Is it the same (house) wine list as the other restaurants on board?

I would try again. Ask them to pull the call, where you were told you could do the lift and shift. It sounds like they are acknowledging the error, but I’d still try again with a new supervisor, and a new request.
They do have the right to correct omissions and errors, so technically they can refuse to honor the L&S. But of course it just doesn’t sit right when we aren’t treated fairly.
Explain that you’ve been doing everything you can to stay with Royal through the pandemic, and you really need some help here.
I usually don’t recommend contacting cruise line execs. But in this case, if you can’t get satisfaction, I’d say to
send Michael Bayley a message on Facebook.
So I procrastinated another 7 months....and it was about to be time for my final payment. I took the advise above and contacted Michael Bayley via Facebook messenger. Laid out all the facts and asked for considerations. My message was acknowledged within a couple of hours and I was told they would look into it. Received an email response about a week later from someone in the executive office and they honored the lift-and-shift price. Super happy. Thanks JsMom2 for the excellent advise!

My Spring 2020 was cancelled and I took the FCC. Rescheduled for August 2020 and then May 2021 and those were cancelled too. After RCCL cancelled the May 2021 sailing I asked about the Lift-and-shift option to May 2022. Agent was unable to find the same cruise/ship (out of San Juan) but said a Miami sailing would qualify. Rebooked for May 2022. I was told to ignore invoice until their back office can apply the lift-and-shift price protection. I waited a couple of months and nothing happened. Upon reaching out to RCCL I was told that the initial phone rep was incorrect and the Miami cruise (Eastern Caribbean) does not qualify for lift-and-shift for my previously booked San Juan (Southern Caribbean) cruise. It is the same state room and duration but a different "type" of cruise.
Do I have any recourse? The posted price is much higher on the Miami cruise. I didnt care when I made the booking as I thought I was price protected. The manager I spoke with last said there is nothing he can do and he cannot escalate the issue any higher. Appreciate any suggestions on how to proceed.

I always include my parents (German citizens) on my state side booking. It has never been an issue.

This promotion appears to be a GREAT deal IF you sail in a family suite which has more than 4 people. I had booked PFS on the Liberty during BOGOHO (8 people) and I just repriced using the new promotion...saved $3K. Thanks to the person above who pointed out savings in regard to RFS. I owe you!!!! I probably would not have called in to reprice as RCCL promotions tend to be "zero sum" as pointed out in the original post.
In fact I am thinking about adding people to the reservation as they would only pay tax and gratuity.

Based on my experience about a month ago....first day is the worst. I am sure it will remain somewhat crowded around peak times but otherwise it should improve. Ice cream and El Loco had the longest lines on embarkation day.
