  1. This was in our room last week. It lists the most commonly used benefits. At the bottom is a QR code to take you to a list of ALL benefits. The bottle of Wine discount is not prominently displayed or widely advertised. Page two in section 6 shows the additional discount. You have to know about it or go look for it. I have yet to have one staff person tell me about its availability.

I find this benefit just as valuable as the individual drink vouchers. It lowers your cost of a bottle of wine to what you might pay for in a land-based restaurant.

  2. This happened to us on Harmony last November on boarding day in Giovanni’s for lunch The waiter said I could not do it, I politely insisted he was wrong and asked for the Manager. The issue was taken care of by him

On Explorer last week In Dining room ordered a bottle with voucher. To his credit the Assistant Waiter said I need to check on this. He came back with our bottle and said all was good.

Not sure why it’s not more widely known by staff.

    Yes.

You probably don't want to limit yourself to a very small airport, but if there are flights there, A2S can probably book it.

Thanks. It would be into and out of Milan. Then Taking the high speed train to Bologna and xfer to Ravenna Train.

  4. On the topics of Air2sea. Can you book through them to arrive 2 days before cruise departure and then for a return a week after the cruise returns. ie staying an extra 7 days after cruise ends.

Do we have to fly into nearest airport? Or can I fly into and out of Malian instead of Venice, when cruise leaves from Ravenna

I understand all transfers are up to me.

    Thanks in advance.

How was this excursion?  Thinking of doing it for an upcoming cruise.  Do you remember what the price was and was it worth it?

We (2 people)enjoyed the excursion. The price may be a little high but remember you get unlimited drinks, food and safe transportation there and back.

The price we paid is what’s currently showing on the third party website.

The Lazy River was fun and clean. You can also use the pools or go on to the beach. There were plenty of Towels provided by the resort so you do not have to bring one from the ship. The Jerk chicken was fantastic.

The one thing we did not like is everything does not open until 10am. The excursion leaves the port at 8:30am and is a 20 minute ride.

After checking in and finding your spot, you still have 30 minutes or so before you can get food or drinks. They do not start the current in the lazy river until 10am.

All In all, had a great time and would go back. Not sure I would go again at a higher price point though.

Unless the PortMiami website is incorrect, Rccl does in fact set the price for parking in Terminal A. That is why every other lot is $22 and A is $35.

Next time, park in Terminal B and walk. It is $22 a day and easy enough to walk without waiting on a shuttle. Just drop your bags off with a porter first.

Just left from parking garage G today from explorer. The rate is $22 a day.

find one closer to your ship and use that one Royal is charging an arm and leg to park in there garage. Just don’t do it.

They probably haven't added them yet.  We have had similar situations with ports changed last minute, added last minute...etc...

Looks like its not going to Happen.Explore Of The Seas Reservations close tonight at 11:59Pm. They did get a tab on the excursions page that says Coco Cay. It directs you to the Drink Packages. No Suprise there. Guess i will be checking with the Shore X Desk on Sunday. Happy Sailing

On the Adventure docked at Labadee. Gangways are open. The captain just announced that the issues are 130 miles away in port au prince, that only staff and suppliers are allowed access to the area, and if we want to stay onboard that’s ok too… So Labadee is fully operational today.

Were the water shore excursions canceled today to?

  10. I understand the safety concerns from all aspects. The money refund is not going to ruin my Cruise.I also understand that others have different budget constraints. I am disapointed that In part  we purchased the Wave Runer tour at a really good price. It was durning the Holiday sales. I would never have bought it a the higher price. None of the other excursion in the beach interest me. So it will be just another beach day,if we make it there.

  11. So it begins.Just received an email from Royal canceling our Jet Ski tour next week due to safety concerns for guest and crew. I will be surprised if port is not canceled all together by then.

    Dear Guest,

Out of respect to our local communities surrounding Labadee, Haiti, and to ensure our guest and crew safety, we're temporarily adjusting our tour offerings.

As a result, we've cancelled your Labadee Guided Wave Jet Tour - Driver and issued a full refund to your original form of payment, which you should see within 14 business days. Some banking institutions may take longer. In the meantime, please feel free to visit My Royal Cruise or the Shore Excursions Desk once onboard to review options for your time in port.

We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by this - your safety is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Royal Caribbean International

This is going to give me nightmares

Just add this to your thoughts. Your at the Pool with your kids. They happen to need something from the room. You send them without another thought about it.  No parent should have to worry about a person hiding in there room much less a cruise line employee. its just sad.

Yes its just another thing to worry about. If it happens once it can happen again.I am serious about checking under the bed and sink each time we enter the cabin. We will be boarding in two weeks.
