3 weeks in the states? Wow! I wonder why is it 8 weeks in Canada.
The Canadian government just issued a non-essential foreign travel advisory so our entire trip (disneyworld + cruise) is up in the air right now.

Are you waiting on appointments from your pediatrician? Mine was trying to put me on the schedule three weeks later so I just walked my kids into a CVS without an appointment and they had their first shot within about 20 minutes.
I'm in Canada... we were pretty delayed in approving the vaccine for kids, its only been 2 weeks that kids have been able to receive it and in BC we only started immunizing the kids 10 days ago (my son received his the first day possible). They are spacing the shots out by 8 weeks. If public health will allow my soon to get his at 7 weeks 2 days he will be fully immunized for the cruise. I'm also pondering taking him across the border to Bellingham if thats feasible/acceptable. What is the dose interval for the kids in the States?
I'm also at the point where I may cancel the cruise if Canada makes us quarantine upon returning... announcement coming tomorrow apparently :( -
I am seriously debating canceling our February cruise on Oasis after reading this thread..... my 4 year old won't be vaccinated and my 5.5 year old will not be at 14 days post second dose before we board the ship (he will be considered "fully vaccinated" with 2 days left of the cruise, unless I can convince public health to allow him his second dose 5 days early). Ugh. I don't know what to do

Thanks for the review. I'm having second thoughts on our Oasis February cruise now... my son isn't eligble for his second dose until 8 days before the cruise, meaning he won't switch to a "fully vaxxed" passenger until day 5 of 7. And my 4 year old daughter will not be vaccinated. We were really looking forward to AO for them, now I'm wondering if we should cancel.

I haven't read any of that.... we are heading on Oasis in February and I sure hope the AO isn't that restricted or I'm rethinking our plans to cruise

We just did Royal w/ child age 4 and absolutely would do it again with unvax child!
How was the kids club operating? We are going on Oasis in February with a 4 year old and a 5.5 year old who will be just a few days shy of 14 days post second dose (I'm hoping his second dose can be given a few days earlier than the 8 week interval)

I asked Janelle about that when we considering our options. She said it was totally possible to meet and transport us separately to the courthouse and not see each other until the ceremony. Talk to her about your schedule options, she is so awesome!
That is what we did! Colin left the ship at 945, and Stu picked me up at 10. Colin went to the courthouse first, and I stayed in the SUV at the beach until it was go-time!

Beautiful Pretty Klip Point at Sapphire Beach is nearby for additional photos, or another ideal ceremony spot:
(Sorry for the terrible photo quality, I saved the photos off of my Facebook so the quality is terrible)

Please help us decide....Lindquist or Hawksnest?? Anyone have pictures?? Would love to hear about your experiences as well. We are cruising on RCCL in Nov. Thanks in advance!!
Definitely Lindquist. I thought about Hawksnest but it would have been too rushed and we would have spent more time travelling than enjoying our wedding day! Lindquist was an easy alternative as it has the same look but hardly any travel from the cruise terminal.
I'm about to go picture crazy here..... but I had such a hard time finding good pictures of the beach & our reception venue that I vowed to share mine!!!

It doesn't get much better than this!
Great spots for greenery photos as well:

I love these! So the room doors are magnetic? Was the quality of the magnets good or did they slip down?

Awesome review and I love the pictures! Can't wait for the rest!

Love your review so far! I especially love the picture of the two of you kissing the stingray - I was waaaayyyy too scared to do that when I was there last year!

I am 90% sure we will be canceling our early February cruise, for the same reasons 😞 we are still hoping to go to disneyworld and I'm just waiting on a call from Westjet to change our flights home to a week earlier and then I'll cancel the cruise... I'm also secretly hoping there will be some good news in the next few days before my west jet appointment, so I can leave everything as is... but I'm not hopeful 😞
