I sent an email note to PaG on Saturday to ask about transfers and day room at the IC. I should get a reply tomorrow. I’ll post what they say.

Thanks for some very helpful information. I'll send a note today to both the Hilton and IC.
You have always been so helpful in answering questions for everyone.

My husband and I will be going on a PG cruise later this month. Everything is pretty well planned except for what to do after we get off the ship in the morning but don't fly home until almost midnight. Has anyone done the PG tour and then day room at the Intercontinental? If so, how was it? Do you recall the price? I can't find it on the PG website. Any other ideas of how to spend the day and evening?
Thanks for any words of wisdom. Gail

You might want to check to see if the Bora Bora motu is back in operation. It was not available a few months ago and they were taking people to Matira Beach
Thanks so much! I’ll give PG a call.

I understand that the PG has a free beach in Bora Bora. Our cruise will be there for 2 days. Will the beach be open both days? Should we plan a tour for snorkeling, or is the beach good for this? Or should we plan some other type of excursion?
Thanks for any words of wisdom.

I got so excited about these new cruises. I booked the Quebec intensive cruise for September 13, 2025. Don’t think I’ve ever made a cruise decision that fast!

Thank you so much for this great review. Makes me ant to go! However, I’d like to know a little bit more about the ages of passengers and their fitness levels. My husband and I are in our late 70’s and do well for our age, but not sure I’d be able to do all the snorkeling and hiking. Any advice? Thanks again for your inspiration.

You will love the Paul Gauguin and the beautiful scenery.

If you have AA miles., you can use them to fly ATN from LA.

Can anyone see what cruises get the 20% off?

Thank you both for all your well thought out responses. I think we will opt to take the ships excursion and just have extra time at the airport. Sounds like anything else would be too much of an effort.

We are ending a transatlantic cruise early in the morning, but our flight does not leave until 6pm. There is a ship tour with airport drop off, but it is just a 4 hour tour. We are flying from EWR so would like to find something a bit longer. Thanks for any advice or ideas. Cruisingsfun

My husband and I did the vow renewal about 5 years ago. It was wonderful! We had friends sailing with us, and the cost of the renewal package included eight guests. The ceremony was in a beautiful location. They supplied a photographer that took lots of pictures. One picture was free. I assumed that the extra pictures would be reasonable, but for that they wanted to charge for the photographers time and a really high per picture charge. I didn’t understand this so picked out about 20 pictures and the charge was about $1400. I said no thank you and was so glad my friends took lots of pictures. Their policies may have changed since. So, be sure to ask. I did write a scathing letter to PG.
It was a great celebration and lots of inclusions. Go for it. Memories for a life time. -
Thank you for such good information.

My husband and I will end a cruise on May 30, 2023 at the Vancouver, BC cruise terminal. We want to rent a car to drive to Kelowna, Lake Louise, Banff, and fly home from Calgary. Does anyone know what car rentals are nearby? Thanks for any help.

I was on the Marina transatlantic and subsequent cruise from Rome to Trieste from March 19 to April 21. The food and service was very disappointing. Many servers that did not know how to serve, and lots of the food was not properly cooked. The cruise in general was so disappointing that we cancelled an Oceania cruise for next summer. Sorry for the bad news! We had cruised on the Marina precovid, and it was completely different. A really great experience.

Since choice B is to begin and end in Venice, I would avoid this one. You won’t be in Venice. Choice A also has one more port to enjoy. Athens is wonderful in October. Spend some time in Greece.

I’m currently on the Marina in Trieste. We arrived early this morning and spend the night. For those people wanting to take a day tour to Venice, the prices are $379 per person to go to St Mark’s Square and Doges Palace, $349 to go to Murano Glassworks and Gondola Ride, and $329 for Panoramic Venice.

Does anyone know if the Katakalon fun train is running. I can't find any recent information about it. Looks like a fun thing to do - especially going to the winery.
Thanks for any help.

Husband and I just completed a 10 night PG cruise this morning. It was wonderful. The last night we had 8 Polynesian dancers come aboard. Great show. We had lovely weather and food was very good. No complaints.
