I am trying to decide between the Hampton Inn, Old Town Sheraton, or the AC Hotel.  I will be in San Juan Jan 4-6, so over Three Kings Day.  A beach isn't the driving factor as we leave on a cruise on the 6th with NCL.  Would like to do some touring.  Any recommendations? Thank you.

Thanks for the replies. That is what I was thinking - that the cert expired. She will have to find it and verify the date.

If a friend of mine has a certificate from when the points program switched over, can she still use it if she hasn't applied it to a cruise? Was there an expiration date? If so, has anyone tried to redeem it? Any replies are appreciated. Thanks!

Today my winning bid for the Grand Hyatt (4 star) on Priceline was $100 plus $23 in tax. I was surprised that it was accepted the first time. Not sure if I could have gone lower?? It is for mid June 2010. Happy with my price.

I talked to someone last night at BOA and they told me it will be $100 upgrade certs. It isn't worth much when you can only use one on a cruise and they send you more than one. I am disappointed. I am thinking of saying goodbye to using my card since I cannot and earn 300 points before the end of the year. I can't stick that much on gift cards.

Hello. I don't think I can get to 500 points by 12/31. Does anyone know what good two or three $100 upgrade certs are? Can you use more than one for a booking? This is frustrating.

I live in Minnesota. I sent my Compass Rewards first class on Monday through the USPS and my account was credited today (Friday). I sent them return receipt. The post office sent me an email when they were signed for. I was surprised how fast my account was credited! It cost me $4.14 to send my reward certificates in.

I just booked my first cruise with my NCL points. I am so glad to see this thread! I also was at a loss for a good three months because I had already attained my $1000 annual limit on my card. If my current NCL card is in my name and my husband's name, how do I order a second set of cards? Can they also be in my name and my husbands or should I just order one in my name and then add my husbands? I also didn't realize that you could use a TA for booking your cruise. I booked directly through NCL. I am hoping that it was the best price for a mini suite. I am cruising the Mexican Riviera this October! Thanks for any advice!
