For those of you who booked or changed a booking under this sale...I urge you to check your confirmation paperwork. I noticed two problems with mine. I had originally booked another package and changed to this Veteran's Day sale. I upgraded from the Classic Beverage package perk to the Premium but the paperwork still had me with the classic. Make sure you have the right code on your paperwork.Call and they will switch it. Celebrity also made a mistake in the total by forgetting to add something in ....check everything!!!!! also the very nice rep on the phone asked me if I asked for the upgrade when I made the booking. She said if you are a Captain's Club member and ask for the upgrade when on the phone you will get one if it's available. But, you have to ask. You can't do it online. Too late for me ....

I just switched my existing booking to the Veterans sale! Used the chat feature. Super easy and fast. Much faster than than waiting to talk to a rep on the phone. Don't try to do it yourself on this completely ridiculous website. It won't be accurate! Saved a ton of money and got more perks! The deposit changed to non-refundable but the penalty for cancelling before final payment is $100 per person with the remainder of the deposit having to be used to book a future cruise within 12 months. You don't have to go on the cruise within 12 months, just book it. Such a great sale!!!! Saved about $2000 in cash and perks!

I'm considering re-booking under this sale but not completely sure. I booked with a $50 refundable deposit. This sale is the regular deposit, in my case $900 and is non-refundable. That is important to note here for those that are considering changing reservations. The way it was explained to me ...if I cancel before final payment then the penalty is $100 per person with the balance of my deposit able to be used for future cruise credit within one year. Otherwise if you cancel you lose all deposit...even if before final payment. You have to do the math. I think it might be worth it in my case because the savings over my current booking is much more that the potential loss of deposit.

Since booking my cruise a few months ago the fare has dropped three times and I have gotten those rate adjustments. Now it has been climbing steadily over the last few weeks. I have the 123 promo but wonder if the new promo is better?
-
A little confused here....isn't the 123 go package automatically included in the promotion? I am doing a Mediterranean cruise in July and the booking came with a choice of two included in the price.

Just found out that I cannot get a fare reduction unless my travel agent does it. Saw a $500 reduction last night....travel agent closed until Monday. X told me that the agent would have to call them herself as I don't have the rights to change anything. X was very helpful and hopefully they will work with me but another disadvantage to booking the cruise with a travel agent.

I currently have an aft cabin on Celebrity Reflection for a Mediterranean cruise in July booked. Now I see that since I have booked, the concierge category and the aqua class prices have dropped a little. Please weigh in if you think I should give up the aft cabin for either of the other categories. It could be a $600 savings. Is it worth giving up the aft cabin for either of these other categories with increased amenities? THANK YOU!!!:)

Interesting....the rep made the corrections with me on the phone and I got the corrected invoice right away in my email.
