Unfortunately, we do not have a local GSM carrier, we are in the very small portion of Nebraska that is still on Alltel, soon to become Verizon, but not until sometime next year. So our phones will not work in Europe.

Has anyone used the eurobuzz GSM cell phone in Europe? I have seen good reviews on their land use, but don't know if they work on cruise ships.

Do not book a cabin just below the "Movies under the Stars". We had such a cabin on our Princess Cruise in January. It was our 9th cruise and the worst vacation of our lives. We love to sit out on our balcony in the evening. We could not do this on this trip. The door to our balcony vibrated constantly and so did the walls in our room. The first day out after our sleepless night we thought we could catch a nap, but guess what? They also have movies under the sun!!! I complained at the Purser's desk and was told someone would call. No one did. So the next day I complained again and someone was sent to our cabin. Nothing was ever done about the noise. When we arrived back home, I contacted our travel agent and she gave me an address for Princess and I wrote to complain. They sent us $400 credit for another cruise.
