  1. Paleeze be gentle when you bump........:D:D:D

Any idea what kind of show will be on the Escape....another illusionarium magic show or a Cirq type production like that on the Epic?

From the amount of posting on Cruise Critic for this sailing it should be a real party atmosphere:D

As I sail on Getaway next month I can practice my party mode:cool:

    Hi All,

You're sailing on the Getaway that we were going to sail on....but we changed to the Escape ....But got a great deal for the suite...same price for the Haven..Ya whoooo.... I loved the Epic...Twice...Did things that I didn't do last time on the Epic.... way to much to do and see...

We need to get together when we sail and tell me all about her (Gateway)...

I use lube when I bump....Its easier that way...Its better to be on the top than the bottom..You don't get lost that way......

  2. How big is your group?

Are you an agent or just a "Julie McCoy"........fabulous!

As for the Holiday Inn....how is it?

I normally book a night before stay in Miami so I can drive in the night before. It is about 6 hour drive from my home up in the Nature Coast to Miami, 5 hours to Ft Lauderdale. I have used Hotwire in the past to get a decent room rate.......but will look into the Holiday Inn...depending on the parking availability.

This cruise has a lot of activity on Cruise Critic boards.......:D

I just hope my experience on Getaway next month is a positive one so as not to diminish my anticipation for Escape. This cruise will mark a special moment for me as my first cruise was on the NCL Southward and now ESCAPE will make my 80th cruise.

    I am red ta go!

  6. OK - I am totally confused after reading these posts . Can you put in your own cash that you bring on the cruise with you into the slot machines? Or do you have to "buy" the cash from the cashier which to me would mean some type of special playing money. I really prefer not to charge on my credit card any gambling money and just bring what we plan to spend in the casino and when it is gone that is the end of the gambling, this is the way we do it when going to Vegas also. Can we use the Harrahs Total Rewards card while gambling in an NCL casino? If yes, would the credits add up as if we were playing at Harrah's, therefore contributing to our Harrah's free rooms, etc. offers? Also, while gambling in the casino on NCL, are alcoholic or any other beverages free as in Vegas or is there a charge for them? Thanks so much - first cruise and lots of questions :o

    Hi,

I just got off the Star a couple of months ago....1st you must get their players card. 2nd the machines take cash. 3rd they put out a free book on the first day for comps. 4th free drinks would be after you have 2500 in play that the will give you free drinks unless it came with Harrahs...5th there is no such thing as free drinks on the cruise ship. 6th good luck because they were really tight the week that I went....the biggest jack pot that I had seen was $1800 on a nickel video poker machine right in front...Dont get suckered into those progressive machines buy the cage and players club.....I was watching people dump money into those and no payout....Last but lest you need to talk to the players club about your play to harrahs..... GOOD LUCK....

  7. Pete not sure who this is on the Epic. We once traveled on the Dawn with my niece who has severe allergies . There was a note in the cabin waiting for my sister explaining who she had to meet with and an on board phone # to arrange that meeting. Thankfully we didn't have one allergy related incident while sailing but had made contact before our sail date via our travel agent to insure we wouldn't. Hopefully the person you're inquiring on behalf of, has done all the preliminary contact necessary to have all their gluten free food ordered and ready for the sail date. If they haven't by now I believe they'll find it much more difficult to customize their diet when on board. If they don't find a letter in their cabin addressing their problem I would contact someone in the Food and Beverage Dept onboard. I'm sure they would know exactly who is the correct person to contact.

    Hi Leanne,

Yes it's one of our CC'S.....She has gotten the right information she needs...So there is going to be No problem with her...

5 more days and counting down...See ya on the Epic..
