My husband enjoys drinking Grappa, I can't stand it! Are there several varieties available on board, sailing on Silhouette.

A few years ago I used to enjoy reading posts by a lady who travelled on several long HAL Voyages, I cannot remember her screen name but she was a member of the Red Hat Society.
I just wondered if anyone knew of her and if she was well.

If you're sailing ex Southampton - you're likely to see Liver and Onions, Irish Stew and Chicken Tikka Massala rotated in every few days as everyday specials (in place of the usual Steak, Salmon and Chicken) - The everyday Steak on our last cruise was awful (about 5mm thick and very unusual texture). The Scallop (unless it has been improved) is a laughable joke - an appetizer consisting of 1 Scallop about 10mm thick on a shell - barely an Amuse Bouche. I think the Top Chef menu has been dropped on UK cruises, the cultural references are lost on a largely UK passenger group and the food was poorly received
Not what I wanted to read. Our first time sailing from Southampton, thank goodness I've booked a speciality dining package.

Please dont teĺl me ìs ex Southampton [emoji26]It stick's in one's craw to have such massive price hikes and then to be served half a single scallop as a starter and thin slimy steak, Meatloaf, Liver & Onions, and Irish Stew in the MDR. If they want to charge premium prices they need to improve the food quality IMO. Food in the MDR as some peaks (Chateaubriand / Beef Wellington) and troughs (Top Chef menu anyone? :D )Sent from my SM-T813 using Forums mobile app

I'm somewhat confused as we sail on 21st and as far as I know there is no sailing on 18th October unless you mean 2019.Hi all can anyone tell me if Celebrity Silhouette will be passing Portsmouth or the needles on the way to Guernsey. Would like to see her passing from Southsea.Sent from my SM-T813 using Forums mobile app

I was wondering if every cruise started from menu A, irrespective of cruise length

You never know what is around the corner, book and enjoy

This is exactly what we have planned for the British Open cruise this year. 10:30 am departure, with a Celebrity transfer from ship to airport. Choice Air had no problems booking it for us.
Interested to know which port / airport?

I am currently on the Constellation, true if you look for rust you will find it but does it effect my enjoyment not at all. The crew are excellent and very friendly. Officers very visible and entertainment is fine. Today is Phuket so free Internet!

Trying to decide whether to buy a drinks package, what is the current cost of a speciality coffee in Cafe Bacio?

You mentioned a Celebrity shuttle into the city, was this a frequent service or a one off? On sailing leaving 11th January.

Just back from the Silhouette TA – a brief review after 4 years away from Celebrity

We were on the previous cruise to this and have to say our meals at The Tuscan were excellent and the service attentive and not hurried. It just goes to show how things change.
