Quick question! Does anyone know of any details on what the Cunard coronation celebrations might be onboard in a few weeks time?  I know someone had posted a while back to say there was a real party atmosphere for the jubilee - so fingers crossed for something like that on the lovely QV in a couple of weeks - but interested if anyone had heard or seen anything anywhere with any details?

We are on QV this coming Thursday with Lisbon being the port of call for Coronation day, plan to decorate cabin nearer the day with some bunting hoping there is something on the day we were on QM2 last July 4th docked in Boston lots going on that day with big screen on the top deck live streaming a concert plus bbq, think from memory the menu was tweaked in the Britannia too celebrate, lots of guests dresses in red white and blue so certainly added to the occasion.

That’s ridiculous!  You should not still be having problems.

There have been major errors a few times last year regarding the Internet feature on the App.

Try my suggestions above, for the OP and see if they help.  If not, definitely send an email to IT.  You can also call the IT or Ocean Ready team using the phone tree.

Both you and @NG11, here’s another IT email, which you can try.

    A360ad7@carnival.com

Give us feedback and best of luck.

Took your advise emailed the address and had quick reply had too give more details and the confirmed they

would investigate so fingers crossed it’s resolved

    thank you

  4. Hi we are having the same message since before Christmas so rang Princess and they tried to help by paying over the phone but they had issues taking charge but IT problems so payment not taken.

I completed all our personal information but still same message, prefer to pay before we go which is October as we have the payment showing in Sterling so no transaction fee if it was US dollars

  6. Hi Chiper48

We had a Cunard pre cruise stay flying into JFK in July once we had collected our luggage and entered arrivals hall we very quickly found a representative holding a Cunard sign she then took us to the outside taxi pickup point and contacted we presume a pre booked cab which we had too ourselves to The Hilton Midtown

Due too time of day we arrived around 5pm into NYC the transfer due to commuter traffic took roughly a hour to hotel.

Yes the launderettes are open, but not all the machines are working.

Calm day today, overcast.  Lots of people outside walking, which I will do later.

More on the breakfast room service.  Yesterday's delivery was missing a few items, so I tried to phone to ask for them but received a recorded message that due to a high call volume I should call back later.  So I left to find replacements in the Concierge's Lounge, but met the Room Service Manager in the hall.  He promised to check our room service tray personally each day to make sure  it was complete.  Well, sadly, this morning we were missing silverware and napkins.  We had to call, but the next delivery had only one napkin for the 2 of us.  We had to laugh.  Are they running out of napkins?  Are they doing this on purpose because they hate us?  One never knows.

Thank you tv24 on laundrettes helps with my packing this afternoon as we meet QM2 on Friday

  8. Thank you RJChatsworth for the updates, is everyone being asked to wear masks around ship, we haven’t had a update from Cunard on this, plenty of emails re CanArrive App from them which we done today, plus are the laundrettes open.

    Thanks Sue

  9. Hi yes if doing St Vincent the Mustique excursion was really good you are left to do your own thing on the island which is a real Robinson Crusoe place the beaches are superb and empty as the island have a limit on how many visitors per day and as Britannia was only shipped docked it was around 50 people , only downside it’s a choppy ride so sea sick pills may be handy but worth it

  10. Hi we had the Internet package this Feb around Caribbean on Britannia since the 35 pounds for 100 mins package is no longer available the last couple of years we used the wifi in ports which is ok but if you want FaceTime/skype it's not ideal, we had quite a bit of OBC so opted for package it was a lot better then previous years when signal in cabin was very hit and miss, I used it on deck 19 catching up with home as daughter was getting married June time so lots of planning etc the signal was excellent there and cabin, we shared btw two devices and once one logs in it gives a msg that a device is in use if a member of your party is on line so you can then switch, we had it for ten days approx out of the 15 it was 80 pounds unlimited could Email FaceTime Facebook instragram

  11. Hi, we done the P&O excursion to Mustique wow a lovely island though very choppy several people got soaked recommend sea sick pills for this but a stunning place, other option is the previous year we took a taxi to the Botanical gardens to while a away a couple of hours then walked back to ship it's all up hill so we passed many passengers asking how far? En route there's a small cafe there good for photo opportunities too

  12. Yes but no Fly Cruises when you have limited holiday time and want the sun and avoid the Bay of Biscay flying direct to Athens/Rome/Venice has a lot of appeal we have booked for 2019 on QV from Southampton to Canaries in October as we like some last warmth before Winter, but already looking for Sep/Oct 2020 and seeing what Celebrity has to offer fly cruise options

  13. Hi Leesre

We have done the last two years Cunard fly cruise on BA no complimentary food on offer we had Athens and Venice flights, can't recall any paid for hot food offered also, so we usually grab a sandwich and muffin from Boots or takeaway food outlet

On the seat front this is one of our least fave things on a Cunard Fly on our trip to Venice we had two seats together there and return from Rome but last year we happen to be in the line as check in opened so no more then ten in front of us we were given two aisle seats one in front of each other husband question this as I am not the best flyer BA check in staff says it's all pre loaded by booking agent can't be changed so we were not too happy and as you can guess we had same on return, we are off again to meet QV in two weeks have spoken to T/Agent and have passed our request on to Cunard for seats together will be surprised if they are but that could be our luck on the day plus at 5 am on Saturday morning not sure who we could contact
