Hello Vancouver experts and locals,

We will be in Vancouver before leaving on an Alaskan cruise. I would like to use a morning for a bit of sight seeing, specifically to see Stanley Park totems and the lighthouse near Brockton Point and maybe walk to Prospect Point for some photos. My question is this, since the Stanley Park shuttle will not be running yet (June 2-3, 2016) would I be able to have a taxi drop me off to explore and then catch a cab back to my hotel? or can I arrange a pickup at a certain time and place? Other suggestions?

Also, how long should I allot for a leisurely tourist stroll through the park from Brockton Point to Prospect Point? Thanks so much!

Did Harv and Marv last year on the bigger boat. It was a catamaran type vessel with good viewing windows and some open deck space.

I have a couple of questions for you. It looks like there's several stops at Murano. We would like to know what stop would allow us to see a bit of the island and then what stop we need to be at to catch the LN to Burano for the same. The map from hellovenezia isn't really clear...

Well since it was my first cruise I thought I'd start a tradition and bring a good luck charm so I bought a bobble head doll, big mistake every time I looked at that head bobbing around it would practically make me sick..then we ran into rough seas and it fell off and broke..so much for lucky..
