hi, were on the same cruise and also leave Manchester on the Friday. if you have like ourselves 28kg of luggage allowance you take it in 2 cases or like us we take 3 bags that weigh up to the allowance.

On previous transatlantic cruises the safety drill is before departure around 5pm,Any late arrivals on that day will have a drill before departure.It would be impossible to do a drill at 8pm as the restaurants and public areas would be serving dinner.

we have recently booked for may this year and as we are returning on the orient express took the no flight option and had £200 per person deducted. we are booked on the ba flight from gatwick and this flight and the one after it are used by p&o so we should be fine if there are any delays but if in doubt we would travel the day before

Hi we are also doing the ba flight on 18th may. As we are from manchester we are going down the day before on the train via reading. It seems an easier option as driving round the m25 is often lengthy.Our train is 12 .27 from manchester and we will be there around 6pm. Were booked in the premier inn and that cost us £39. The advantage of going the day before is BA do day before check in at gatwick so after leaving the train we can get rid of our bags the carry on to the hotel that is a few mins walk.The next day its the direct to the security queue.Our return trip is via train (vsoe)to vienna then a flight back to manchester

Hi Pete and Grant here were on from liverpool cant wait then 2 days in new york followed by 2 days in niagara before flight home from Toronto
