I just happened to look at the ship`s position, currently between Las Palmas, Canary Islands and Funchal, Madeira in 70mph winds/Beaufort Scale 11.

WAS thinking of Canary Islands as next cruise.....:eek:

Sweet spot cabin for me is the mid ships balcony cabin on Deck 6 I have booked.....nice and calm for the Bay of Biscay crossings real soon ! :eek:

Is there any Rose wine included in the house wines?

I`m sure the Beringer Zinfandel is included. Not a bad wine, £5.99 from Sainsburys right now, so certainly within the budget range that RCI set aside for their house wine range. ($30+ per bottle aboard).

My travel agent said that even if you pay for drinks as you go, 15% is automatically added to your tab, so the bartenders shouldn't care if you have the package or not.

All the package flyers have the wording "15% gratuities included" as far as I am aware, so nothing is automatically added to the tab.:confused:

I have purchased the drinks package from the UK and was charged £429each (12 nights x £35.75) no 15% was added on and no where did it mention that it would be.

 

The cost of a alcohol package is determined by the length of your stay, with an average daily cost of *35.75 GBP for Adults.

Package Price for your 12 night cruise:

Adult: *429.00 GBP

Can I ask if you had to pay for thus upfront or reserve it at that price? And if you did pay upfront, did you have to pay in $s or £s ?

Our forthcoming cruise, dep 29th June for 14 nts (Indy) still has the red lettering that this package is not yet available and to check nearer the sale date.
