Greetings all. We're new to NCL & I was wondering if anyone here can recommend (or not ) the Priority Access for $179/cabin.
I've read some threads blasting the embarkation/disembarkation process and others that reported a decent experience.
I tried doing a search, but nothing pertinent came up. Any suggestions? Thank you.
It may have a value for an experimental individual that believes vacations are not only about fun but also you may want to be someone else for a couple days .

My favorite type of cabin by far all it's personal preference I believe. Don't worry about the night time issue
one time I violated the blackout rules by accident and they just call your cabin and say the blinds are not fully closed
and you make it so . To my taste it's reminiscent of a bridge tour as you help guide the ship into port .

So I get an extra point for Haven ?
2 hours ago, Paul Bogle said:If you booked the Haven you get an extra point per day. If you upgrade to the Haven through the bidding process you do not get the extra point per day.
"*For full fare Suites booked at the time the reservation was originally made. Does not include mini-suites. Does not apply to upgrades or upsells. If you receive a free or discounted upgrade to a Suite or The Haven you will not receive Suite points. Rewards points are not applied for Cruisetour nights or hotel stay nights. Guests sailing with Friends & Family rates and/or Casino cruises will earn points."
Thanks for the response

I have and actually had them picked out...until I "chatted" with a rep online about the policy. They went over the primary/secondary insurance info and the per-existing info and it wouldn't cover me according to the rep.

That game will be available all over the ship as enumerated above.
I don't believe the Chiefs will be playing on the 19th however. 😲😉😏
Go Pat's. 😎🎥

I recently upgraded to a Haven suite. Woohoo! But the first thing that comes to mind is "what do I even do with a butler?" I'm just not that fancy. I've never had a butler and I have no concept of them. I've seen Batman, and Alfred is a badass, but I doubt that training to become a superhero is the best way to utilize a butler on NCL. So.... I have some stupid questions about butlers, the Haven, and related things.

My butler was implicated and I didn't know if he did it or not .

My next cruise will mark my fourth with priority boarding and I only benefited once including one time standing in the wrong line . NCL does such a good job it's hard to notice the difference . I hope there are huge delays next time so I can hold my nose in the air as I pass all the steerage folks.

The ship is the Valor and I'll be boarding in Caneveral on Friday since it is repositioning the departing passengers will be on an open while my cruise will be closed . I simply wanted a timeframe from someone who had waited for a ship that was clearing the more stringent customs requirement .
-
Received warning e mail from Carnyville that due to off loading cruise being closed loop that boarding time will be delayed .
Please respond if you experienced a delay boarding due to this exact circumstance ( previous cruise having increased citizenship requirement ) I would be very interested if Space Coast was port of departure (I cant spell Caneveral )

As an alternative, World Mastercard (and others) include (generally minimal) trip cancellation and luggage loss/delay coverage. Check your health insurance (other than Medicare) for out-of-country benefits; some at least cover out-of-country under out-of-network benefits. Ken
You will not find coverage outside of the US from US health plans .... oddly most Europeans I meet will not travel abroad without short term travel insurance.. I buy mine mostly for the evacuation costs chopper fuel aint cheap you know
