HalifaxYorksCruiser - I have read that the St Devote exit from the station is steps only(no lifts or escalators). I was planning to use the port Hercule exit which I believe has escalators down. I think the exit comes out in Grimaldi Street which is close to St Devote, so the walk should be similar.

Thanks for that information. Yes from what I could work out it doesn't look too bad a walk, just though there might be an outside chance of a shuttle operating.

Does anybody know if there is a free shuttle from where Azamara dock in Monaco (Nouvelle Digue I believe) into town and back please? If there is does anybody know the drop off /pickup point as well? I will be embarking there on July 6th and will be getting the train from Nice to Monaco station and any help with luggage would be a bonus rather than a longish walk to the dock.
