1. Hi,

I keep seeing mixed things about the status of the Enomatic wine dispensers. Are they still installed on the Infinity? Do they work with the drink package? I saw lots of reports of a seperate "wine card" but the celebrity website currently says you can use your seapass.

To help you explore these wines, we feature the state-of-the-art Enomatic® wine-by-the-glass dispensing system. With a simple swipe of your SeaPass® card, it will pour your choice directly from the bottle in a 1-ounce, 2.5-ounce or 5-ounce portion.

2. I'm anxious to see the new cruise dock at Icy Strait!icon7.gif

Does anyone have confirmation that the new dock is built? If so which lines are using it and how many ships can dock at once?

3. Normally my "insurance" for missing a cruise is to arrive 2 days before, but for an upcoming trip, due to circumstances beyond our control, we can't arrive earlier than the day of departure.

I know most plans will refund us the cost of the trip if we miss it, but are there any that will provide true Missed Connection coverage and get us caught up to the ship if we miss departure?

4. I hope that they decide to just come up with another third party affiliate or their own craft cocktail menu and keep it exclusive. If you need bottled water all you need to do is walk nearby to Cafe al Bacio. If you want beer, wine or a basic drink, there are many other options bar wise to get what you want. Unless the size of the bar was to increase, it would not be feasible to have it be both a full service bar and a specialty bar at the same time.

I can buy the argument that there's no room for wine and beer and even the idea that it's somehow better to be that exclusive (even though I don't agree) but not having water seemed pretty inexcusable to me. If cooler space is an issue it could be kept in a free-standing barrel-style coolers like Cafe Bacio uses.

5. We sailed the Equinox in January and were at the Molecular bar every day, so this is disappointing.

I must say, while my wife and I loved the cocktails and the bartenders, I did notice it didn't get a lot of business, and this was on a very full sailing. I think the issues a lot of the reason it didn't do well was poor execution:

(1) They didn't open until 5 even on sea days

(2) They didn't serve anything other than the specialty cocktails. If one member of a group wants just a beer, wine, or simple cocktail they had to bring it from a different bar or go without. On my sailing at least, they didn't even have bottled water, which sucked because their tap water was warm.

In general, I hope they keep it a craft cocktail bar, but it would help to keep to throw some beer and wines behind the bar as well, along with some water bottles.
6. Hi,

On Celebrity's website for the drink packages it now says:

Premium Package

Enjoy our entire selection of fine craft beers, top-shelf spirits, premium cocktails and wines-by-the-glass up to $13 per serving. Indulge in unique craft cocktails, extra-large martinis, even liquid nitrogen-chilled cocktails from the Molecular Bar. Plus, with purchase of this Premium Package, you can enjoy a 20% discount on all wines by the bottle purchased on board, even our prized Reserve Wine list and Rare Wine list.

It no longer mentions coffees or the Premium Non-Alcoholic Package. Anyone know what's going on?

7. When I booked there was no option to request a table for two, just early late or select. Is there any way to add this request to an existing reservation?

Does X have an email address for dining requests like RCI and NCL do?

Thanks

Also if requesting a change On embarkation day would some cash to the Matre'D help, or is t poor form?

Anyone?

8. So, would you be ok with going on a cruise next week? On the Magic? And being assigned the cabin used to quarantine the health care worker exposed to Ebola?

Not the original poster, but unless the worker actually has ebola and starts bleeding ****ting and puking all over it, I would have no hesitation about using the cabin after a cleaning.

Even it that case I'd have no issue staying in a different cabin on the same ship after a cleaning.

9.
Wonder why folks like major retailers in Seattle don't know that????
There are plenty of websites of equal or greater complexities that actually work--perhaps they were tested as developed to uncover both functional (behavior) flaws and Performance flaws before being promoted to production.

Or maybe it was just plain magic????
I'm not 100% sure what your getting at but a shopping website is totally different than a hospitality booking website, even if it's a shopping website the size of Amazon.

Again, I'm not here to defend Celebrity, I have no interest in that, I just get frustrated seeing end-users talking about how "easy" it is to fix a website linked to several legacy systems.
10. I have just logged in to "My Celebrity" and they have my name, Captain's Club number and email address correct, but it gives an address in a town I have no connection with and have never been to. I checked it out online and it is a real address with the correct post code - but it is definitely not mine!

Celebrity replacing an address with a random address by either human error or some kind of "glitch" is plausible. Commodore's alleged situation, where the random address happened to be a friend's, is not plausible to the point of being statistically impossible.
