Filet Mignon is listed on Kid’sMenu. Is this a filet or just a sirloin steak?

Don’t Waste Your Money!!!
Signed up for the catamaran cruise and snorkel in Bonaire on Nieuw Statendam. Very disappointed. What we saw was mostly dead coral and occasional fish. Registered complaint with HAL and they said it’s a big park —-SOL. Save your money and take the Sea Cow excursion—100% better.

Really don't want to move car once at hotel. What do you think about taking Uber to Newark Penn Station($8-10) and then train to New York Penn Station $2.45/pp (senior rate? Will either take 8th ave train or walk to theatre depending on weather as suggested.
Any decent restaurants near theatre?
Thanks all for your help.

You can take the train and subway. Do you have a car? Jan 27? How many people?
We are parked at hotel for our cruise. Good deal thru Trinity.
My wife & I are going to 2pm show on Jan. 27. After show we plan to get some dinner in the city then head back to hotel.
How much time should we allow to get into the city to make the 2pm show?
Thanks

Hello Carol
We are staying at Ramada Plaza by the Newark Airport and would like to go into the city for a Broadway show at the Eugene Oneill Theatre on W.49th St. What would you suggest the best way to get there? Can we take the train? Thanks

Yes we are doing the park/sleep/cruise package....good deal. We also hope to be on the first shuttle to the ship. Do you know how long you have to wait for the shuttle after debarkation?
Anthem appears to be an astounding ship and we are going to some ports that we have not been to. See you at the shuttle.

Hi Carol
What a pleasant coincidence that we are both on the same cruise and at the same hotel. Thanks for your advice as it will help with our travel plans to the SOL/NYC as long as Mother Nature cooperates. Cruise Critic members are very helpful.
We have sailed out of Manhattan cruise terminal on Carnival previously but this will be the first time out of Cape Liberty on Anthem. We have not sailed on ship this size before and are looking forward to it. With the winter we are having we are looking forward to this upcoming cruise. Hopefully our paths will cross during the 12 day cruise.....possibly at the Meet&Mingle. Thanks again for your assistance.

Hi Carol
We could use your advice. We (4 adults) are staying in early Feb. at the Ramada Plaza Newark which we booked thru Trinity. We are coming by car from NE Ohio an extra day early to allow for weather and to would like to visit the SOL and go into NYC.
How would be the best way to go from Ramada Plaza to Liberty State Park to catch the ferry to Ellis Island? We plan on taking the ferry after touring Ellis Island/SOL to Battery Park and going to the 9/11 Memorial and touring the City. We would like to return by taking the subway/PATH from New York Penn Station to the Ramada Plaza. The hotel has a free shuttle from EWR to the hotel. Should we take PATH from NY Penn Station to EWR? Your advice we would be most welcome. Thanks.

Looking at going to Jolly Beach w/out going to resort or Dickenson Bay. Would welcome any comments.

We are interested in Jolly Beach without using the resort.
---Do you have to pay a resort fee for access?
---Any details on public access??
--- Does Jolly Beach have a steep incline at the waterline similar to Valley Church Beach? TX.

Just got back from Jolly Beach......we loved it. The beach is pretty. 2 beach bars right there for food and drinks... 2 chairs and a really nice big umbrella for $20.00. We had a real fun time....we had hamburgers to eat and they were very good. Yum!!![/quote
We are thinking about Jollly Beach. Did you do this on your own or do you have to do the resort fees for access?
We are also interested in Jolly Beach---Do you have t0 pay a resort fee for access? Any details on public access??

There are other beach clubs along the same stretch as the Boatyard that you should investigate - most offer chair and umbrella rental, along with food/drinks and facilities, but they do not offer the water toys and pier that might appeal to your kids and the young at hear (but old of bones) in your group.
Your call!
Do you have the names of the other Beach Clubs near the Boatyard? Tx

Stay safe if you are in the path of Matthew and take lots of ginger and Dramamine with you! Hope everyone who sails the next week or two has smooth seas!!
Hopefully nothing like this.......
