We will be coming into Ft. Lauderdale Next Oct. 28th and there is a boat show so all of the hotels near the water seemed to be booked does anyone have any suggestions of hotels that are near the water that have any openings or hotels near the port that have something scenic by them. Or next option is rent a car and go to Lauderdale by the Sea but I was trying to avoid renting a car.

We are looking into staying in Lauderdale by the Seas because in Oct. next year there is a boat show when we go down and many hotels are sold out in Ft. Lauderdale . Anyone have any suggestions on motels?

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I am trying to look for a hotel on the beach that does not require you to stay 3 night min. I am in hopes it has some store close by and not totally out of control in price?? ANy suggestions would be great. :)
