  1. I have cruised solo , just once before, i did enjoy the freedom of it. I cruise solo now because i prefer to cruise much more often than my friends. I now have two future solo cruises booked. I will be cruising solo on a 14 day Journey cruise in september. I chose late seating for the main dining room. I enjoy dinner with the other solo cruiser, sharing information and meeting new people is always fun. Now i can cruise whenever i want, as long as the price is right. I don't have to stress over who can i get to go with me.

  2. Since i am platinum, i drop my bags off first in the cabin, get a bite to eat anywhere i like ,since the ship is not crowded yet. Next check out the dining room for table assignment. Then back to cabin to change, and off to the hot tub. Next back to cabin for a shower then a nap before muster drill. All with several drinks along the way, that why i need a nap...

  3. I have been on both ships more than once. The Freedom is nice but the Breeze is great. Freedom was my favorite ship until the Breeze arrived. If you don't want to cruise with a lot of children Go Jan , Feb, early march or Sept ,Oct Nov. When most children are in school.. It works for me..

  4. I have been rerouted at least 3 or 4 times, Eastern to Western and visa versa. I just go with the flow, watch the Carnival website and the weather channel. I rebooked my excursions once before i even left home. I knew our planned ports had been hit , so it was not going to happen. I have never been afraid or seasick, never really rough seas. I put my trust in the man above, and let Carnival do their thing..

  5. I bring lots of clothes, but can pack and unpack in about 15 minutes. I use ebags packing cubes. I use small ones for underclothes, the medium ones for shorts and tops, sundresses, thats 4 cubes. They fit nicely in my suitcase. I then use the same suitcase that has a hanging area, from top to bottom two hang my dresses for dinner, and after dinner dresses, about 10 to 12 dresses. Beach hat rolled up in pockets along with formal dinner purses. 4 pair shoes in corners. Extra totebag, goes in outside pocket. Carryon bag has ebags, flat toiletry bag , sundress, swimsuit , paperwork and jewerly. When i get on board I put packing cubes in drawers and hang dresses in closet. I put toiletry bag on shelf in closet. shoes on second shelf, done.. I love to dress and would be stressed, with only a few items. You can bring alot and and best of all , UNpack quickly and Pack just as quickly. I have my clothes washed on day 5 so i have almost no dirty clothes to take home. I have done this 15 times out of 21 cruises.. It a Breeze....LOL

  6. I have done both ships, I did the Dream as a solo passenger. I prefer the Breeze , because it does have Guys Burger. The Dream is set up just a little different in some areas, and has a traffic jam sometimes in the Lido Marketplace . That was corrected on the Breeze. You will have fun as a solo traveler. They placed me for dinner at a table with other solo travelers so it was easy to meet people.. Have fun... If you ever need a cabin mate look me up.. Only if your not on America Most Wanted... Have Fun:eek:
