I was wondering if the mini-suites only had a shower & no bath? Also, is there a MUTS as with all other Princess ships? I have checked the deck plans but couldn’t see the MUTS near the pool areas.

Yes it’s a new Princess Cruises ship due out this month. We love both NCL & Princess but found Princess a lot cheaper for the same cruise, same day. We are not drinkers so weren’t worried we missed out on an alcohol package with NCL.

Be careful if you head to Disneyland.  Even in a wheelchair the chances of someone knocking your foot are high. We took our daughter (24) to Disneyland in 2017 while in a wheelchair with many fractures in her arm and we were guarding it constantly.

We are booked on the Sky Princess to Western Caribbean. We changed back and forward between NCL Breakaway and Sky Princess at least 2 times but settled on the 4th January sailing as it works out better with our holidays. I work in a school so this is our summer holidays before school starts again at the end of January. We have combined the cruise with visits to Disneyworld, Graceland, Las Vegas and Disneyland. Just hubby & I this time as the last two times we brought all the family with us to Disneyland (all in their 20’s).

Take care and heal well. I hope you cruise in the near future when you are able to. You will definitely need a change from the 4 walls you are looking at most days.

You probably don’t realise but you are in the hearts of many around the world. We are in Australia and have been using your comprehensive reviews, pictures and advice for years to plan our long awaited cruise to the Caribbean in January.

So it was time to leave and we walked over to the parking lot down the street and around the corner from the port to get in the bus to take us to the boat dock.

 

 

 

 

We were informed that the authorities had shut down the sandbar today!!! The winds were too high and the waves too high and dangerous. However, the were hoping that it might die down later and maybe we could do our excursion in reverse. I was so bummed. We had wait over a year for this day and now mother nature did not want us to do it. We did hear this rumor prior to the company telling us about it. They had cancelled all of the ship sponsored tours to the sandbar and people were forced to make different plans. The vendors on the streets trying to get you to take tours also confirmed that the sandbar was closed. Sigh...I just can't win. :(

We have also just booked the April 6th, 2019 - Rome to Southampton. Seems a long time to wait, but have been eyeing this itinerary on Princess and could not do it in 2018, so am excited to have booked for 2019.

That cruise was booked through an agent based in Vancouver but previously we had booked through NCL direct. I think we received a great deal & extra onboard credit from the agent. We paid approx. 1000 each for a balcony room when the AU dollar was on par with the US dollar.

Love all of your informative reviews and often refer to them when looking at which ship to choose. We are hoping to book a Carribean Cruise (maybe Western) and wondered which ports you would recommend and which ports we should avoid?

Yes Kerry, great itinerary and a tour of Canada's West coast and rockies are a fantastic way to start. They should release the itineraries for these by the end of November.:D

Yes, it looks great. We are hoping to do it for my husband's 50th. We loved the solstice when we had a 3 night sample cruise plus this cruise has the advantage of starting in Vancouver. A holiday before the cruise. I will just have to be patient for a couple of more weeks.
