Can you still go to guest services the day you board and order flowers?

You can order them in advance again using the personalizer. I’ve done that for our last couple of cruises.

There are TVs in the cabanas - does the TV noise carry?  And does general noise in the cabanas travel out to nearby areasl?  The Cabanas come with Bose headsets to listen to the TV.  The Cabanas are very quiet, as is the entire Sanctuary venue.

This assumes the people in the cabanas use the headsets. We had a cruise where they left the television on the entire day (mostly the news) and never used the headsets. Most of the time neither of them were actually watching or paying attention to it. At one point we asked if they could turn down the volume and they took great offense to the suggestion. This only happened on one cruise and was certainly out of the ordinary.

    Below from our roll call.

    @Yehootu Arrived in Sydney yesterday.

$41.00aud to Darling Harbor. Arrived yesterday, Good Friday and it's a holiday here. Grocery stores and Liquor stores were closed☹️. Pubs were open! Interesting restaurants charge a 10% "Holiday" upcharge.

I worked with Aussies and one more national holiday there is Easter Monday - the day after Easter.

As you well know, the Sanctuary is my "happy place" and we practically live there on whatever ship we are on.  But, this great crew and the itinerary were too good to pass up!

Ditto for us regarding the "happy place". We leave next Thursday for our drive to San Pedro and our upcoming Sapphire Princess cruise. We expect to spend most of our time up in the Sanctuary.

  5. Depending on the length of the B2B, the battery may die in your medallion. It's an easy fix - go to the guest services desk and they will replace it. Sometimes they can tell if the battery is dying and will ask you to come to guest services for a pre-emptive battery replacement.

Prices used to be $40.00 per person for full day.  Looks like that’s up to $50.00.  The full week price has always been $30.00 per person per day.  Wonder what that price is now?

I think $30/day is (or I guess was) the full cruise price, not full week.

  7. We were in L108 in November/December on the Enchanted. This cabin has a wraparound balcony and the door was on the side, not in the front. It was a transatlantic crossing and the winds on the cruise were quite strong at times. I tried to keep the balcony table upside down when it was windy to prevent it from banging against the cabin. One evening during the crossing I could hear the table moving around and when I looked out the sliding glass door, I saw the table fly by, hitting the partition between our balcony and our neighbor's. The table was at eye level - thankfully I didn't step outside otherwise it could have been messy. Great cabin, but I'm not sure we'd do it again, mostly because it's so far away from everything, not because of the balcony.

  8. The other itinerary used to be Tahiti when the former Renaissance ships (aka the "Little Girls") were there. Again, it had a large number of first time cruisers. We received our first MTP invite with just over 200 days on the Pacific Princess. Since then we've had one other invite, but I don't remember which cruise.

Just so you know, if they are shipped, they aren't delivered until about 10-14 days before your cruise.  There are other threads discussing delivery time.

Not necessarily. We're 47 days out and just received a shipping notification. It should be here on Tuesday since there's no mail delivery this coming Monday (President's Day).

As far as the Cabanas in the Sanctuary, you booked them on the ship as soon as you board.  This is done in-person at the Sanctuary.  They are $220 per day.

Below are photos from the Enchanted this past November.

If your picture had panned a little bit more to the left, we would have been in the photo...

As @Rick&Jeannie posted, be sure to check your laptop transformer (or paperwork) to verify that it's 120V only. If you use a converter when it isn't needed, you could still cause damage to your laptop.

Many years ago...I had a patient on CPAP (pre dual voltage machines) that required a fuse to be changed to allow for 220V. I gave the patient the fuses and explained what to do when she got to Europe for her 2 week vacation. The first night in her hotel, she requested and got a converter from the hotel. It killed her CPAP. She ended up without a CPAP for 2 weeks.

My first CPAP had the fuses and a switch to change the voltage. I don’t miss those days.

Always read the fine print on the transformer - lots of good information there.

  12. Reserved loungers in a reasonably quiet area (the soft mood music does get a bit tiresome). Children are not allowed. You choose the location of the lounger. Depending on the cruise, you may want to go to the Sanctuary as soon as you board since it can sell out quickly.

It's $40 for a full day, $20 for a half day, and $30 for a full day if you book the entire cruise. These prices are per person. They also have cabanas, but I don't know the pricing for them.

Thank you. I did read elsewhere that some are located at the front of the ship, this information might be incorrect as I also thought all were mid ship.

Marina 107 and 108, Lido 107 and 108 are all Club Class Mini Suites. I refuse to use the new name... 🙅‍♂️

  14. Lufthansa is another airline which has this policy. This caused our seat assignments for our November cruise to be in different rows for our SFO to FRA flight. Fortunately there were others in the same situation, so we pulled a 5 person swap as we were boarding and everyone was happy with the outcome. Of course, YMMV...

  15. Mother Nature must be ticked off at someone - lots of wind and rain right now. I didn’t pay much attention to it initially until I heard our balcony furniture moving around. I was about to investigate when I saw the table fly through the air, hit the partition to our neighbor’s balcony, and land upside down on our balcony. The table was about three feet in the air when it hit the partition. Wow!!!

The extra dishes tonight in the Reserve Collection Dining Room were Beef Tenderloin and Spaghetti aglio e olio with Shrimp (the Spaghetti was delicious!).

We had the spaghetti (sans shrimp) a couple of nights ago for dinner. Nicola - the head waiter, not the maitre ‘d - arranged it for us, and it was delicious. Lots of garlic and just the right amount of pepper flakes. Yummy!!!

Yes, there are two Nicola’s in the dining room. Both have forty or so years with Princess, and apparently have never worked together before being here on the Enchanted.
