  1. I started an identical thread around the same time you did. Unfortunately we are only talking a couple cruises so far this season including the one currently underway.  Also I find, myself included, once I get home I am not likely to go back on the roll call or boards to post information.  I’m hoping someone sees our requests and decides to post.  I feel it would help with planning.  If someone would just post the page with the day’s schedule that would be awesome.  Thanks.

  2. In just a few weeks I will be cruising with my boyfriend and his sons ages 10 and 8.  The boys tend to open doors without knocking.  We are in an H4 on the Escape.  I believe the master bedroom door is a pocket door.  Any thoughts on how to "lock" this door?  Or any device I can purchase?  Thank you.

  3. We have been on 40 NCL cruises but we have never left out of Boston. Just looking for some embark information like whether they have a size limit for carry on bag, whether you can have a single water or soda in your carry on and whether you can check a case of water? In NY where we have left from the most they do not limit carry on size, you can have a water or soda in your carry on and you can check a case of water. In Miami we found the opposite to be true on all counts. Thanks.

  4. On some cruises we have hung a cruise critic sign on the door with a magnet and never had a problem. On our last cruise I always knew which way to turn on our deck when I saw the cabin with the Saints Championship Magnet (a big one). The only problem was the last night they packed the magnet and I didn't know which way to go. ;)

  5. Reading this thread I realize I may live to regret booking cruise air. But I did and I have a few questions:

1 - How far ahead can/should you request deviation?

2 - How much does deviation cost?

3 - Is it a deviation just to change seats or make a seat request?

4 - Without a deviation will they put people traveling together in seats together?

On 11/27/09 we are flying JFK to Barcelona arriving 11/28/09 so we can do the Gem Transatlantic on the 29th.

    Thanks.
