  1. Hi we are so looking forward to our cruise on board Azura in just over three weeks time and have booked our carparking for an arrival time of 12noon but on printing out our e-ticket s tonight it states our boarding at 3.30pm!! Does anyone know if we will be allowed to board earlier? Thanks in anticipation

  2. Hi we are very experienced cruisers but have never sailed on a Cunard ship. In 4 weeks we are doing the Transatlantic crossing on QM2 and are really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for a calm crossing!! Could you help us with dress code please especially for my husband. We are flying out and sailing back and are a bit worried re luggage allowance. Many thankx:)

  3. Many thanks for your replies and after reading the first one I panicked and phoned our TA up but to no avail as the cruise is fully booked. I can't imagine why after having the glorious winter we've had can you????

Rick thank you so much as you've reassured me lots as your cabin was very near ours. Shame about the sun but if we booked a saver fare that's the gamble you take and as you say we are very near the buffet and as a big problem appears to be getting a lift that could be a real plus!

It's great to have two positive replies and now we will start to get very excited!

    Thanks to everyone who replied

    Linda

  4. Hi

Hope someone can help please. We've just been allocated our cabin for our Caribbean cruise and it is A614, we paid a bit extra for a slightly bigger balcony but we would never have chosen deck A because of the Horizon restaurant being above. We are very worried about noise from it during the night and early morning. Has anyone ever stayed in this cabin or nearby please who can tell us? Thank you very much

    Linda

  5. Many thanks to all of you for your advice and reviews! If our friends can make it I think we will go for it. As you say you can't judge until you've tried it yourself! Just wish P&O would have as many sun loungers as Celebrity do as the Caribbean calls out for lying in the sun!

  6. Hi hope you can help us, we're looking at a Caribbean cruise next February on Britannia but are quite concerned over the poor reviews especially only the 52% who really like her! We have been on most of P&O's other ships and accept reviews are only an indicator of what ships are like but when we checked on the other ships their ratings are much higher! We now usually go on Celebrity but have done many Caribbean cruises on P&O and like flying direct to Barbados. If anyone has been on her honest reviews would be very welcome!

  7. Nobody with any heart or feeling can think it's right to make an 84 year lady with a chest infection leave the security of the medical centre on a British Ship for a Mexican hospital when she was stable and hopefully getting a bit better after her intravenous antibiotic treatment on board. Another few days of care on board may have made her be able to get to her hotel in San Francisco and even enjoy a day there. If she had been on a six day trans Atlantic crossing what would P & O have done?? Oh yes taken care of her! As a couple who have cruised many times all I can think of is the fear that poor lady must have felt

  8. Well hopefully we will have a nice mattress but may do a bit of shopping in Sydney and buy a topper cos I'm a really hopeless sleeper on a hard bed and a month is a long time!! Fingers crossed we're as lucky as Pam;) Thanks everyone:)

  9. Hi wonder if anyone can help over the state of mattresses on board Diamond Princess? We're doing a months cruise around Australia and I'm a pain for not being able to sleep well on a hard mattress so I wondered if anyone has any experience on balcony cabins' mattresses on board Diamond Princess?:)

  10. Hi hope you can help. We are off on a circumnavigation of Australia next Feb/March on Diamond Princess and are wondering about dress code now on Princess as its been a few years since we travelled on a Princess ship. Should my husband pack a tux or suit? Very excited:) Thanks

  11. My Aussie TA quote is including the gratuities. Hopefully as we're not sailing from New Zealand just down to Tasmania from Melbourne our windows won't break;) but we shall see. Was going on Celebrity in 2016 but that went around New Zealand and then Australia and I was a bit worried about the Southern Ocean then. Anyway as our son may return from Australia late 2016 we though we would do the Princess Circumnavigation next Feb/March instead.:)

  12. Thanks very much for your reply, we would really like one right on the stern of the ship but cant really afford it! Its such a long awaited trip made special as our son has moved from England to Sydney for a new job. We have booked with a TA in Australia as the price was 25% less than using UK Princess. We were able to do this because of our son now living in Australia. We are on the Feb 15 trip so will check out the roll call for that trip:)

  13. Hi wonder if anyone can help me? This is a trip my husband and I have always wanted to do and we have booked a cabin on portside but wondered if we should try and change to starboard because we will be facing away from land all the way round.

We haven't been on Princess for a good few years and wondered if like Celebrity they add 15% on to drinks? Are the drinks the same price as Celebrity?

Our cabin is also near the back which we are delighted about but on A deck and we wondered if those cabins under the Lido deck are dark because of the Lido deck overhang?

Will be very grateful for any answers

    Thanks Linda:)
