Wavtam….how did you save $26K? I looked at the Expedition Longitudinal World Cruise V, in 2025. Price shown with no code is identical to the price with the code, which the system accepted. I can’t see that is saves anything.

WWC24 ONLY works on World cruise and ONLY on the 121 /160 day run to Londan. Does NOT work if going to NYC.

    No Expedition ship is considered a World cruise.;

Trying to be kind and sweet with this post. I am thankful for our continued health and we are traveling now while knees, hips, and joints work well. But when we can’t travel independently we will hopefully be gracious enough to stop. There are 3 or 4 scooters on our WC. They have not seemed to be much of a problem on board....but 20 or 30 would pose a terrible traffic jam. If you need a scooter find a cruise line that welcomes them. We have been impacted by significantly handicapped individuals during excursions. Viking should be able to deny these individuals access to some excursions. They are Not safe and the detract from our experiences. I sure hope Viking can figure this out. If my excursion to Petra is shortchanged because we are waiting to load wheelchairs and Wobblies who will have difficulty with the heat and long walks, I will be unhappy.

As a retired ambulation physician, I support these comments. We recently on WC did a 5 hour tour with 3 scooters and 2 walkers on the bus. The individual's where so compromise at the tour stop, they all tried and eventual retained to bus. The 5 hour tour resulted in one individual peeing his pants on the bus. Viking does NEED to have a handicap bus for all these individuals.

    WWC24 is the current promo.

Just received the 24/25 WC brochure last week. Expires April 30, but will probably be extended.

Big Thanks....you just saved us 26,000. The ironic thig is we booked on board and the consultant was not even aware of promo code.

  4. World cruise.... Sky.... Jan 5 LA to London. Reserved this last year only to cancel and booked the Orion for 91 days which we are on presently. Last years World promos came out in Aug. If anyone sees sooner let me know.

  5. Doing the Island Princess on East coast run. Package booking.

What are the specialty restaurants as we are given two free bookings.

Drink package is given and see drinks up to $15 per drink. Is there a daily limit.

Does that limit go against the Juice bar and coffee bar also.

Have access to free fitness classes. Examples being what?

Get premium desert. What is that?

Does one get Medallion on check in.

As Elite do we still get free laundry, high tea service and bar set up in room?

  6. What is the best way to receive or find promos codes. Always a good deal, but it seems I just stumble across them. Would like place to all that are active for River/Ocean/Expedition.

Cabin question regarding NP 4000 - 4010 range. From the deck plan and 360 tour, these cabins appear to be on the primary access path to the Explorer’s Lounge main level.

I would value any observations from those with experience as to the noise levels from passersby, or from the doors into the lounge. Thanks in advance. 🍺🥌

On board presently. Just not going to be an issue. The lounge has very little participation , due from lengthy days of activities.

We stayed at intercontinental hotel. They won’t let you check in till 4 unless you want to upgrade , then pay extra to have available room. We deny offer and able to check in around 1:30

The ship IT post. We skip Cape Horn and return Ushuaia day early. I don’t know why

We arrive at 11 am with the same statement that you could not check in until afternoon. We walked to front desk and ask for the first cleaned room. N/C. Unpacking by 11:30am

  9. On second day of Polaris Xmas run. So far in middle of Drake Passage and you don't even know you are on a ship. Food /service all up to Viking standards.

Air, Hilton and transfers work like clockwork.

    Any questions ask away.

Ate at Manfredis last night and food and service were great.

Had lunch second day art World with lamb shanks, cordon blue. Korean b-cue and rice and vegetables. Maybe 20 people ate on this side and the line was 20 deep for Hamburgers, fries and rings on the other side.!!!!!

  10. New Rules For Americans Traveling To Brazil Mean You Shouldn’t Go

by Gary Leff on December 8, 2023

Starting January 10, 2024 Brazil will require Americans, Canadians, and Australians to obtain a visa for entry to the country. The cost will be approximately $80 and allow multiple entry for 10 years (Canadians and Australians only get 5 years).

I guess Viking figured that they had a problem with the medical forms because today we received an email from Viking pointing out that we had not completed our medical forms. So, we tried one more time and it seems to have worked. Problem solved. Thanks everyone for your input!

I'm a retired physician and have submitted three times with reply receipt. Never heard from them. I have printed and filled out the forms and just told quest services that I will have in hand when boarding.
