Tor Olsen??
I'm really not sure of the last name. He became sick awhile back and just returned to work a couple of weeks ago.

Capt. Tor is currently on Mariner.

Can you choose if you want morning or evening cleaning?
Yes you can. The attendant should ask you your preference

Last Nov we arrived around 1015 am and the T5 garage was full and as we were waiting in line to park, they started filling the small employee lot which filled up quickly. We ended up parked on the outside of the fence around the small lot. We were b2b and were concerned about that but the parking guy swore our car would be fine. On turn around day we made sure our car was still there ( we could see it from the ship). We had no receipt because the guys handheld ran out of paper and when he tried to reprint it, it wouldn't come up. What had happened was we were the first cruise back after a TA (Jewel) and the arriving cars were at least twice what they expected so the lot filled up early. They were putting cars wherever they could. We're back in PC on Wonder at T1 in Jan and plan to arrive early even if it means sitting in our car for a bit. Last time we were out of T1 on Harmony in Nov 2021 we had to park in overflow, right next to the terminal fortunately (before they filled that and went to the farther lot). They need to add a couple more parking garages at PC as they have added some ships. We always have our car with us.
With more larger ships coming to Port Canaveral they're in the process of building 2 more parking garages.

I was in a cruise last month and I was previously a prime member and I am no longer prime. I did not cruise since 2019 due to Covid and they said you lose all your points every year. You have to start over and earn 2500 to become prime again. Does this sound right?
Yes. point reset back to zero on March 31st. You'll then need 2500 points from April 1st to March 31st to obtain prime.

Just finished a cruise on the harmony and DW and i just reached a level for a new block. I asked in the diamond lounge and asked if the block is delivered to the room or mailed. The concierge said they discontinued that program and are looking at starting a new one.. is this true???
TIA
Absolutely not true

Independence puts a sign out on the gangway as you enter the ship that states the ship is full and there are no cabins or upgrades available.

I must have missed the survey. What is your source of this information that the "majority" are in favour of the changes or is it just in this thread which I have yet to read entirely?
Some dude that works for the cruise line mentioned the totally positive feed back regarding the change. I believe his name is Michael Bayley 😄 😂

When I was on the Radiance in February 2020, almost immediately B4 Covid shut everything down, we had hard copy vouchers for drinks (I thought it was 4 but may have been 3) for use during happy hour at any bar. These were in addition to the free-for-all Diamond Lounge happy hour which was expanded on that Australia Over-the-Top cruise because of the vast numbers of Diamond members and above.
Just sailed on Voyager a few weeks ago and was dismayed to find the Diamond Lounge happy hour all but eliminated in favour of the four vouchers added to your Seapass. Thankfully, we were in a suite which carried on the traditional happy hour so we weren't negatively affected...this time.
I spoke with the loyalty desk about this apparent downgrade of Diamond benefits and she indicated to me that it was a change made post-Covid to keep some semblance of 'social distancing' due to larger and larger numbers of Diamond members. In other words, should things EVER return to some semblance of normal, one MIGHT expect the return of this benefit.
The more, however, that Diamond members fall into line and accept this downgrade, the more likely it is that it will never return. It's funny how the "enhancements" that all these loyalty programs come up with rarely enhance the customer experience in a positive way.
Get use to it. It's here to stay.

I have some on-line offers from Casino Royale. If it is a free 7 night cruise, I'm guessing that I have to pay taxes & fees? If I submit the form, does that commit me? Do I get to pick the cabin? Any other advice? Thanks! Kris
No you're not committed. You're given a couple of days to pay it off and if not paid it will be cancelled and the offer will be gone. They pick the cabin. You can call and request another cabin within the same category.

Is this something new?
I got an email saying that they have not yet accepted my Royal-Up bid however it may be accepted once I board.
That's been known to happen. There's usually no shows that can free up cabins.

When did they stop that? Last I had seen the quarantine period was reduced to 3 days, but it still was there.
I just spoke with the HD on Independence. That's what I was told.

They're slowly transitioning. They no longer test consecutive cruisers. The crew no longer has to quarrenteen when arriving on a ship. They'll be doing away with the deck 2 COVID isolation cabins soon. Moving in the right direction.

I got an email yesterday that one of my cruises has been canceled for non payment. It just so happens to be the cruise I'm currently on. Am I now considered a stowaway? Ok waiting to be thrown overboard.
