  1. Wondering if Windows  now has an evening/dinner buffet.  Enjoy a dinner buffet. Don’t care for dining room.  On our first cruise with Azamara on Quest, last October Windows was a la carte in the evenings.  Understand it was the beginning of Azamara cruising again and there were only 150 passengers so a dinner buffet would be wasteful. BUT hoping with increase in passenger numbers Windows will resume a dinner buffet.  Or maybe they never had one?  (Next cruise on Pursuit in October).   Thank you in advance for your kind help.

  2. Have a choice of two mini suites on the Pacific Princess. Cabin numbers  8047 and 8063.  Have never sailed in a mini suite on the Pacific.  Have only had balcony cabins on deck 7.   With public decks above the mini suites I am concerned about noise from the deck above and the added elevator, stair traffic outside of 8047.  I am looking for opinions and first hand information from all the knowledgeable cruise critic members.   Please give the pros and cons.  I thank you in advance for your kind help, information and opinions.

  3. Taking our first Azamara cruise on the Quest this fall.  Have sailed on Pacific Princess numerous times.  We loved the seating outside the buffet, ships aft.  Excited to experience this area on the Quest.    Is this area always open?    Hope so.   Appreciate your kind help.

  4. I have tried  searching this forum but to no avail.    I am looking at a cabin above the dining room on the Rotterdam on deck 6.   Have only stayed in cabins on decks with cabins above and below.  We tend to turn in early by 10:00 pm and up early by 5:00.   Will noise be an issue?    Thank you to all in advance for your advice and information.

  5. Just returned from a cruise on May 24 thru Barcelona. We used Pressicat Limo Tours. Emails were answered quickly by Roman. No deposit was required and we paid in cash Euro at destination/airport. We were a group of 7 with a HUGE amount of luggage so I needed to reserve a sedan and a minivan. Both were very clean and nice. Drivers professional and on time. Great service, no complaints, would use them again for sure! You can read all their good reviews on tripadvisor :)

  6. Sailed the Oosterdam, May 12 thru the 24. We are a family of 7. We rented the family corner cabana, Costa Del Sol and the Santorini double cabana for the length of the cruise. The retreat stewards, beverage manager and hotel manager all informed us we were their first "customers". We have rented these same cabanas on the Noordam, Zuiderdam and the Eurodam. They have changed the layout of the cabanas. The corner family cabanas are now larger. They are the entire corner plus the additional space of a double cabana. There is a large rectangular glass table with four chairs, two chaise lounges and a modular type of couch that that can be moved and rearranged into different seating configurations. The double cabanas seemed to have more space too. They have the same modular couch inside and two chaise lounges outside in the sun. They also have a type of privacy hedge. Artificial privet hedges between the cabanas. They do provide very nice privacy when you are laying in the sun. The new design is quite nice. The fabrics and towels were nice quality. We enjoy this area on the ship and find it is a nice place for our family to congregate and visit.

  7. My family had two Retreat cabanas on the Zuiderdam last summer. Have also had cabanas on the Noordam and Eurodam. We always reserve a corner family cabana and a two person cabana down the side right next to it.(the Costa Del Sol and the Santorini) The corner family cabanas are expensive but in my opinion soooo worth the money. As far as I can recall, the Zuiderdam Retreat layout seemed the same as the other two ships. The two person cabanas facing aft do get a little too windy when the ship is moving, again in my opinion. The staff and service we received on the Zuiderdam, was the best we had experienced. Whatever you choose I think you will enjoy it immensely. Have a great cruise!

  8. Thanks Ladybentlely for the Oosterdam update. It is shame so much was not completed at dry dock end. I am hoping you can tell me if the Retreat was complete? Have a cruise next week and ship services has not had an answer for me. Thanks, Pam

  9. I would also like to know if these cabins are finished for the next cruise beginning April 30. If they are, it means the Retreat will be open for business.

I have a cruise starting May 12. Ship Services doesn't have much info./or help. We are a family of 8 traveling together and use it as a meeting place. So hope one of the cruise critic members will know! Thank you

  10. I do not think my cruise is chartered. My same rooms are available to rebook. It was just a complete itinerary change. Still starting and ending same ports. It was just most of the in between was changed. They said in Seattle it was a result of canceling Tunis. :(:(:(:(

  11. My cruise Oosterdam May 12, 2016 for 12 days was cancelled too. Completely new itinerary. Have option to rebook same dates. Can keep all promos and. onboard credits etc.. Will receive additional credit. A shame. No Sicily. Expected no Tunisia. :(:(:( Customer Service in Seattle told me 12 cruises have been impacted due to the changes.
